Don’t think I’ll just leave it there.

I find your match day titles clearly embarrassing. Ravenous Wolves, Ful of Ham and several others. Pool got the full title of course. What do opposition fans think when they visit. Run by teenagers.

Then there was that prancing around like a teenage cheerleader tagging people to reply to that muncher. That ended well.

Rallying match goers to gang up against the owners. Why don’t you write a strongly worded letter from wherever.

I could go on but what’s the point, I disliked you’re (looking a reaction) posts since you came on here and it’s only getting worst. Can’t even ignore you as you keep getting quoted or opening silly named threads. For me, and I know you do have people on here you interact with, you have ruined the forum.

It’s no longer the place for me, maybe too old now for TSE.

Sod off, then. If you get that upset by trivial stuff meant for a laugh, how do you stomach watching the crap we trot out every weekend? 🤣

And as for this opposition fan I think the title shows someone who is in love with his football team but deeply deeply pissed off with them at the same time (and we've all been there)

But we've all done stupid things for the thing we love just human nature. Or a football fans nature.

Ok Goose, please mate take a deep breath. I am not worth your dislike, or near boardline hatred, it is not healthy.

You are a good guy, and have been around this place a long time. Maybe Mod can do something so you don't see my posts anymore, I don't wish to cause you such aggravation.

Maybe this is the last post of mine you see, if so I wish you all the best in your life and hopeful Chelsea get back to a competitive level we can all enjoy soon.

This title was me being pissed off, I admit that. Other match day thread were meant for a laugh.

Well bugger me, a Leeds fan gets me.

I really don't know how to feel about that...lol

Welcome to the forum mate, hopefully your mobile make it back up this season and stay up. I miss those Chelsea Leeds atmospheres, they are special.

That 1970 Cup Final was the first game I ever saw (Wembley not Old Trafford, saw the replay on TV). I was only 7 and at the time the tackles and stuff didn't register with me at all - just that Chelsea won. I still feel Leeds are the derby game goes right back to that.

Watching tonight's games I really fear for us if we end up in extra time........

I was listening to that on the radio in bed as a school kid in Armidale, 350 miles from Sydney in the bush  (dont think we had a tv then). Can still remember some of the names and it wasn't yesterday.

I got it in both ears my Chelsea following Dad and Leeds following friends. Then when I started going to Elland Road I understood, that first time it takes your breath away 30k plus people all wanting the same as you, but if your mob rolled up or Man U the energy and feelings got turned up to 11, I've never been one to take part in violence at football but can understand why it happens with idiotic young men defending their 'turf' with heightened emotions and a number of cheap beers.

But if you were to sit-down in a pub and football wasn't talked about you would probably get on with the lad you were yelling abuse at. The pleasure in beating our closest rivals is only outweighed by the pain in loosing to them.

But like I said a nice 1 - 0 loss will do me fine concentrate on the league and this game can be played in the Premier League next season rather than the cup.

Spot on that mate.

1-0 with our defence though? I mean I know that was our last score reversed but chances we keep a clean sheet? Not very likely.

So with the draw for quarters happening before kick off who do we think us or Leeds see most likely to draw?

Man City or Liverpool.

I reckon City.

Assume we win tomorrow, love a City of Liverpool next round. We have been sh1t in finals, so let's play those good teams in earlier rounds, either get out early or play the 'easy' team in the final.

Not strictly true! In 2006, when I and Loz installed a forum, we were member numbers 2 & 3!

There is a member 1

Hmm, that one must lurke in the shadows somewhere then, I have no idea who they are.

Good point.

Liverpool next if we beat Leeds please.

I remember the 1970 final like it was yesterday. That was an epic battle. Some of the most memorable players in footballing history for me, both Chelsea and Leeds.

Leeds will be up for this one, they have had a barren time by comparison since then.

I think this will be a much tougher game following the reality check on Sunday.

I could see this going to extra time and maybe pens. But i think we should just get through.

You’re the reverse of one of my mates. Leeds supporting dad, Chelsea supporting mates who they used to go to The Bridge with.

Anyway, football is a game for children and anyone getting all worked up over it long before/after the event needs to have a long look in the mirror. It’s all a bit infantile.

Tough game although it is Championship side. I feel this is much harder to prepare than the final. Poch has a job in his hands here. Have the players got over the disappointment of losing and the fatique..? Leeds have absolutely nothing to lose here and we have tons if the players have read anything from the media after the loss. Hopefully they are more angry and motivated instead of deflated.

I don't know...I feel this might be more difficult than it has to be...

Big match for us tonight, I think the longer we stay in this competition it will help marginally with FFP in June.

Lose and the pressure might be too much to keep Poch.

I think we will win, I think the players will want to show they are better than what we saw at Wembley.

The team will be really tired and it’s incredibly hard to recover from the final.

Maybe we should play for penalties?

I think playing for penalties tonight was Pochettino’s plan all along and he got them training for it in the final on Sunday…

The timing of this game is either a great opportunity to put Sunday behind us, or is a few days too soon for a squad that's potentially still licking its wounds.

I hope it's the former, but I worry it's the latter.

Yeah I agree, but from a fans perspective I think we find out a lot about the team tonight.

If, as you worry, it is the latter then we know that theres nothing there and it confirms all of our fears that they are weak and lacking leadership and direction.

If they come out and put a performance in, it will give a bit of hope that they're going to use Sunday to move forward and build some character. Another quater final would be nothing to scoff at, but these players need to start learning how to win despite potential excuse or adversity.
