Petrovic wasnt, is this guy better than petrovic? I dont see it.

Lets turn it around, what makes him the best keeper at Stamford bridge and deserving of a shot in the starting league 11? You're not allowed to answer he's not Sanchez. 🙂

Hard for him to impress in the league when he doesn’t get the chance. He’s clearly a very good goalkeeper who seems to do everything well which is more than we can say about Sanchez. But Maresca will probably want to ease him into the league to not put too much pressure on him. He’ll be our nr. 1 next season.

So as long as our attack keeps scoring we should be okay with throwing goals away at the other end?

Sure - it's worked so far, right? I don't think Sanchez is the long term answer but I also can't fault Enzo's results so far. And I'm sure if he thought Jorgensen was ready, he would be starting. I think J might be eased in, rather than put the spotlight on him. I'm glad to see him consistently performing in Europe and gaining confidence and experience. When he gets his chance, either via injury to Sanchez or another way, he'll be ready.

Does anyone know for certain how to spell his name? About half the sources have it as 'Jörgensen' and the other half have it as 'Jørgensen'. Our official site has copped out and has it as 'Jorgensen'.

Is it because he's half-Swedish and half-Danish so he alternates between the two? Are we seeing a return to the Karl Gustav years? Somebody help please. I have texted my half-Swedish/half-Finnish friend but she doesn't normally stay up this late.

It’s with an ‘ö’ on his Instagram so I’d go with that. It doesn’t matter much as ö and ø are the same letters and sounds. ‘O’ is wrong though

Easily the first choice keeper from now to on.

He may not be as good as Sanchez at saving shots but at least we know we won’t see a hospital pass once or twice each game.

Didn't give the ball to the opposition in dangerous areas, should have been starting months ago.

Laughable that we were told for so long that Sanchez was starting because of his ball playing ability. Laughable, the managers and SD's must think we're stupid.

Didn't really do anything wrong. Can't fault him for the goal, he was at full stretch it was just a really well placed shot from Bowen. More importantly, he knew when to pass and when to just get the ball up the pitch. He didn't force the pass if it wasn't on.

Can only get better with a run of games under him.

There was one dodgy pass that he did where he gave it straight to them but on the whole, he looks ALOT more comfortable with the ball at his feet.

He should definitely keep his place and see how he gets on. I fear though that Sanchez will play vs Brighton in the cup. I would sit him out for a few games.

Jorgensen and Sanchez are not in the top two keepers we have on our books.

Ive had a count up and i think we have something like 13 keepers, senior, u21, u18 and on loan.

Kepas working in the premier league and is fairing much better

and Petrovic is down the road at Strasbourg albeit operating at a lower level in league 1 and is also looking a better bet.

Lol 13 keepers and we cant put a decent one between the sticks::clap2::well done.

He has to save that first goal. It wasn’t that far beyond his frame and the hand, dive and coverage of the goal wasn’t good

Not like we haven’t had this problem with Sanchez before too.

The fact I don’t have to worry about unforced errors from passing, rebounding balls back into the opposition, etc is already good enough for me to consider a clear upgrade.

Did you not see him pass the ball to as Brighton player with an open goal near the end?

Honestly I didn’t see that. Must have been zoned out due to anger.

The shambolic recruitment of goalkeepers sums up the SD's and owners. Spending a fortune on average/poor choices, and young keepers that most people have barely heard of, to ultimately downgrade the options we had when they took over.

Am I the only one who thinks Kepa is probably our best GK, next to Petrovic ( who's also on loan)?

There are good reasons why nobody wanted him in the summer, we aren't the only club with scouts ☹️

Sanchez is a better keeper. Better reactions. Jorgensen is better with the ball at his feet. Neither of them are good enough to be the no.1 keeper at Chelsea. We spent a lot of money on them. In the summer we are buying a new keeper.
