Usually every summer the conversation for Chelsea is how to improve the team to compete for cl n PL. 

 

Excellent, we can field at least one team including subs consisting entirely of goalkeepers. You never know when this might come in handy.

Going by 3 gk's per team rule for the last euros, we have enough now for 3 separate clubs.

Momentarily drifted off at half time watching the game last night, woke up just in time to see Sanchez appearing to dive head first at a strikers feet about 30 yards out. 

I thought to myself "I can't wait for that new lad to get a game instead, fed up of Sanchez doing something nuts each game"

Sadly the camera then zoomed in on Jorgensen, who had in fact been subbed on and was the crazy keeper flying at the defenders feet 😂

To be fair to him though, he looked good in what we got to see of him and the incident in question probably wasn't even head first, just my tired mind making it seem worse than it was. Plus he got the ball so who cares!

I just checked...mikel and moses wore 12 too, so did RLC.

 

There was a couple of posts on another thread about the 10 shirt. I think the days of numbers meaning anything has changed. Even JTs and Zola's numbers now used. Shame really.

Whatever the injury is, I blame the dodgy hairstyle and facial hair.

You could argue he's finally drinking the Chelsea water and fits right in.  Slightly concerned and hope 1 of our 23 backup keepers has no plans this weekend. 

Didn't pass the ball directly to the opposition from what i remember. Great save in the first 5 minutes too. 

I've seen enough for him to start league matches and see if he makes any f**k ups. 

Faced 15 shots tonight and thought he made some great saves. 

Once again didn't pass it directly to an opposition player either. Just throw him in the deep end and see how he does. We know what we get with Sanchez and he isn't changing, Jorgensen is still only 22 and will either get better or we try again in summer. 

Him, Bettinelli, either or. Just not Sanchez anymore please.

So much better than Sanchez, once again didn't pass to the opposition from what i remember. Some good saves too.

I doubt we’ll see him in a league game yet. But he’s coming on and seems to be over the nervousness he’s shown prior to tonight.

No chance Maresca drops Sanchez though whilst we’re winning.

The difference between yesterday and previous games was night and day, imo.

He didn't look nervous at all compared to previous games, from what I saw. That's amazing. He is coming along very nicely at his own pace. He has plenty of time. Good lad.

I'd not fk that up just yet though and put him in PL game until he's comfortable and can overcome the pressure but only his coaches/Maresca will know when that is.

But I'm really happy he's improved a lot and looks confident with the ball at his feet. Won't be long before he's ready to be our #1.

But very much doubt that Sanchez gets replaced after even 1 win. I’m not saying I agree with that but that how I reckon it will go.
