Who's your Chelsea top 11 right now?

Featured Replies

A goalkeeper

Reece. CB  Colwill. Cucurella

Enzo  Caicedo

Palmer Nkunku Sterling

Jackson

Need to see how Veiga gets on but he looked good in his limited minutes against Celtic, could displace Cucurella.

Enzo and Caicedo both start. you can't spend £220m on them and not play them.

Massively overpaid and not againt him being sold but imo Sterling is still our best option at LW. Only player willing to actually shoot.

Really like Guiu so far this pre-season but once again he's very raw and need to see more of him.

Fill in the rest of the blanks as you see fit.

Gk

Gusto, James, colwill, cucu

Caicedo, Enzo, Nkunku

Palmer guiu Jackson

Enzo is the only one I'm not sure about above...can he sit back and dictate play like an iffy fabregas? If so then good he stays.

Using subs as and when tactics (depends on opposition) or tiredness kicks in.

GK Jorgensen because I’m not convinced with Sanchez. I’ve never seen Jorgensen play 😀

RB Gusto until James gets back to full fitness.

CB Tosin

CB Colwill. He’s not a left back!

LB Cucu

DM Caicedo

CM Enzo

RAM Palmer

AM Nkunku

LAM Sterling

CF Jackson but I’d be tempted to play Guiu

I've left out Enzo and Reece James LOL.

Operative words in the thread title being "right now" and for me Conor > Enzo, and Gusto > James (think James was pretty average when he came back at end of last season).

Have taken a bit of a flyer on Veiga at left back, but definitely wouldn't pick Chilwell there, and Cucurella I'm still a bit unconvinced about ...

Kepa in goal as the best of our 8 rather average goalkeepers 🙂

I like that team but I would add Cucurella instead of veiga. Haven't seen much of veiga yet, hopefully he'll play a bit more tonight.

Yes it was a very close call between Cucu and Veiga, but I do think I need some more height at left back, given the midfield I've selected, and the slight stature of Gusto on the other defensive flank.

Here's my eleven. All have won titles.

GK Hannah Hampton

Back Four:

Eve Perriset

Millie Bright

Nathalie Bjorn

Niamh Charles

Midfield:

Erin Cutbert

Sjoeke Nusken

Johanna Rytting Kaneryd.

Front three:

Guro Reiten

Lauren James

Sam Kerr

@Munkunku @axman2526 @Valerie @Mod @WhiteWall What do you think?

Hard to critique that side, with the great Guro in there and all.

Though I am thinking Ramirez will be a big player for us this season.

I'll try and do an impression of Frank Lampard or Ray Wilkins but with my dodgy knee could be a problem.

Well technically that is on @Bluesince66, given he is on the left.

I was picturing you more as our Essien, he has dodgy knees too ;)

Had forgotten about Essien and his dodgy knees. Me and him could compare dodgy knees!

Good point about Ramirez. Was tempted to have her instead of LJ. It's very difficult given how well the women have played over the last few years. I did think about including Sophie Ingle. One of those players who you can depend upon. A bit like Bumstead, Makelele and Kante.

Is an embarrassment of riches, hard to go wrong with any of the women's team. All really, really top notch.
