but I can’t say that I’m convinced with this philosophy yet. Our defense looks atrocious, we will be in big trouble if we carry this forward into the season.

It's just so easy to play against. If people think Poch's was chaos ball wait for this season. Colwill pressing up to their box and the whole pitch wide open  behind him. Three defenders within ten yards of each other.

Jackson is out in the states, he's only just started full training again so should be play soon.

Disasi had a hernia operation recently.

Spent most of the last season out injured so it makes sense to get him a lot if minutes in these friendlies

If you are expecting the system to change it probably won't happen with this manager.

Somebody said this gives AVB vibes, and I see where they are coming from. That defence is going to get destroyed when the season starts.

It's not so much the system, it's the players we're trying out in this system that isn't working in this game. Mudryk has been toss on the right, KDH anonymous on the left, Enzo too advanced and Nkunku can't get involved so he's dropping deep so we have no outlet

Palmer would have scored that one. 

Basically the defence is more porous than it was under Poch, while the attack can't score unless we get penalties.
