Honestly I’d take Jose now.

He would kick up a fuss massively about not having a striker, better than having a spineless manager who will happily pull their pants down whenever the owners wanted to.

Why do you think we got maresca in the first place? Any manager with balls would have kicked up a fuss straight after the jan window we literally got rid of all our depth to rival teams and then got nothing in

I know Maresca isn't the only problem but tonight showed he's a championship level manager at best. He's even turning Cole Palmer into an ordinary looking player.

That was shocking tonight and Maresca had NO answers. He has to go.

To an extent yes but I think that's on Palmer too.  Looks to me like he has lost interest. Arguably you can understand it but it's not a good look for a professional footballer.  He is head and shoulders above very average players like Fernandez, Nkunku, Sancho, Madueke and Jackson but he looks like a player already thinking his future is elsewhere

Having Jackson fit again is as good as it gets squad wise for the remainder of this season.

Let that sink in for a moment...

Wrong Nibs. He is a BIG part of the problem. Repetitive in so many of his tactics and his substitutions, freezing out some players that still had something to offer, talking us down when we were on a good run, sticking with some bang average players regardless of how many poor games they've had. And also KD feckin H. Wtf was that transfer about?

He is just a lower league Pep impersonator without the talent. Pepilini out.

Criminal really that no one around Palmer can create or score for sh*t. Caicedo and Palmer the two standouts every single week, it's like this club currently is playing a formation made of a GK, four defenders and Caicedo and Palmer. Others are just there to make the team sheet so we don't have to forfeit the match. Embarrassing.

This board must understand that this squad needs AT LEAST four world class, experienced players in key areas. The likes of Palmer and Caicedo will develop into truly great players, but they need some experienced, top players around them in order to speed that process up.

That would never happen because they are not under 25 and we don’t pay above 150k. Anybody with a brain knows what we need but the SDs are only there to make money that is why we got them from Brighton and A**x/RB leipzig there more concerned with investment assets and future money.

problem is this all fails if we don’t get CL football next season because the money spent will outweigh the money coming in which means we’ll have to sell players

He’s gone next season who the f**k will stay ? We are watching this sh*t but he’s LIVING it I absolutely feel sorry for him he got scammed by the owners process he now knows there is no process

Palmer will 100% leave soon if we don't show enough ambition in the summer transfer market.

He'll want to play in the Champions League eventually and to me he's starting to look like someone who can't see that happening with Chelsea.

We had at one time a bench of decent players that might have changed a game.....not so though I'm afraid.  Hope the Manager gets roasted..

Brighton have been really poor recently...

... so, of course, we are going to lose.

Called it.

why do we keep crossing when we have nobody that can win a header? One pass from sancho to enzo and they were open cmon bruh?? Just spam the inside pass and we’ll win this

Its just blind optimism by our wingers because that's what they are taught to do ..beat your full back cross the ball, regardless if no one is in the middle...our lot can't beat a full back these days and we haven't had anyone all season, including Jackson, that can get to the centre and head a ball....if the ball hit Jackson on the head it might knock some footballing sense into him...fortunately for him he wasn't playing today.

Given who picks the replacement, does it matter?

You are right about that. I figure with this squad that nobody could improve us much in terms of points total. But I’m sure there is someone somewhere that could at least make us watchable and look like we are trying and actually care a bit.

But these owners will only employ a different boring safe yes man. They only need us not to get relegated in order to carry on their player farming business. Maresca is surely a 10 out of 10 for them.

Saw them on Thursday in Glasgow.  Fight kicked off in the crowd. They've still got it 😂

At least it wasn’t on the stage for once!!

It's hard to disagree with that opinion to be honest.  I can't say I blame him in some ways but bottom line is he's still contracted to and paid by Chelsea so just knuckle down and do your job
