I think tonight was a new low. My view at the game was close to the pitch and body language off the ball was poor. Players walking or jogging when they should be running. Poor tackles poor pressing lack of forward passes. All in front of a large away support.

we should be called Crab fc with the amount of sideways passing. We are along way from being able to play champions league football at this rate.

Bit like the City away recently made a mediocre team look and be best on the day. Season is shaping up to be the opposite of the last one, funny how football can be so fickle, Groundhog Day this Friday or a proper performance? The former seems likely as things seem to be getting away from Maresca. Still Clearfake will look at the club’s league position and be content with his performance to date. Sanchez to start again on Friday ?🥹

Just like the City game, opponent gifted us a goal, we didn't do much with it, handed back the initiative pretty much straight away.  Defensively we are still all over the places, and I do not believe change CB pairing helps either ( unless there's an injury I'm unaware of). Palmer is drifting further away from the goal ( despite scoring one), while the rest of the team couldn't finish to save their lives. When Nkunku passed to Palmer when he was in prime position to shoot around 30 minutes mark, we all know the player was low on self belief.

1 shot on target & that's keeper with og!!.... Absolutely pathetic really..... against a defence that forest put 7 in.....

fkn slow sideways, every 2nd pass backwards .... Sancho only plays backwards as does Cucu so nothing comes off the left side.....neto overhits every cross & Sancho never attacks the ball...Noni fkn headless & just wants to shoot...Palmer & Caicedo marked out of every game so nothing else to create anything..

teams just put us under pressure like we started off doing in the summer, for some reason we stopped doing this, half press to edge of box , not a full press & so teams just walk the ball through us........all teams now do this effectively so we are under extreme pressure, if we manage to get through it they then drop back & hit us on the break.....we are so slow going forward we can't break their shape so obviously make mistakes & can't cope when they break week after fkn week..... dreading playing Arsenal & Pool & even Forest in coming weeks........ Sanchez with the ball at his feet is just a disaster waiting to happen

So badly need a JT or Dave as we've no fkn leaders at present

Who was the last real, actual CF we had?  Even though he couldn't score goals for us was it Morata?  Giroux?  and now Tammy has found a new lease of life in Milan made up of half former Chelsea players that we either didn't want or we thought were not good enough yet excelling elsewhere.

Our two wingers aren't going to score goals; they've told to stay out wide and not drift in towards the centre because they have to leave that space for the flying Spaniel who seems to have a free reign all over the pitch, when in reality he should be occupying the midfield with Caceido or covering for him when he pushes forward; except the Spaniell is let of the leash causing a gaping hole in the middle of the park which other teams have worked out months ago...its the same on the other side, when Gusto goes forward..a fkcuing big hole left behind and the idiot on the sidelines hasn't done nothing about it; not even curbing the spaniel's wandering all over the pitch.   If he insists on inverting the full backs then curb their area of operation and push two of the midfielders forward behind the 9...oh but we don't have a #9 or even a midfielder who can score apart from Palmer.

I'd like to optimistic and think he will change things for Friday...but he won't so unless this lot get a kick up the arse that'll be another 3 points down the drain.

I actually think this was similar to the spineless performance Spurs put in at Liverpool on Thursday.

There was a serious lack of fight from nearly everyone tonight - and let’s not forget this Brighton team lost 7-0 last week!

Boycott needed, next home game no one goes

Protest needed. If our fans stop buying stickers they will just sell them to foreign fans and make more doing so.

Mate, truth be told I’ve thrown in the towel after the City match. I’ve lost all hope to where this club is headed under these co-directors and the vision of this football club.

The directors are doing as they are instructed to do. Any replacement will be yes men given the same tasks. They are irrelevant until BlueCo is gone.

The Yes man has lost the dressing room, a win at Everton put us top, BUT for 2 weeks leading upto the game he kept reeling out the same crap “we are not in a title race, we are not ready” in the end the players believed him, now they cant pick themselves up and seemed to just be going through the motions, Nkunku gave up weeks ago, Gusto and James have been ruined with this stupid inverting ( play them as wingbacks FFS), Continuing to pick a third rate keeper and a striker who should only be backup, and now it looks like Palmer has got a bad back through carrying the rest of the team, something needs to change and quick, unfortunately Maresca cant or wont, if we dont make CL then CLOWNLAKE need to do the honourable thing and sack the bald c**t

HOW ABOUT THIS sh*t FROM THE YES MAN

We started very good, controlled and created some chances. The second half more or less happened the same. If there is something good after a defeat is now we can be focused on the Premier League and Conference."

Maresca also claimed Chelsea have to suffer in order to achieve great things in the future. The Italian said of his side's exit: "For me, a good season is seeing the team improving game after game; go through bad moments, difficulty, it is the only way this club can compete for something important."

Absolute clueless….sack him

Yes, the first part was particularly awful, I hope it's caused by some language barriers , because even if you meant it, you should never say it out loud.  The next thing will be '  it will be good not to be in the top 4, so we could rebuild and win the Europa'.

Incredibly Dissapointing result and performance. I’m getting the feeling the players don’t care for the manager but I’d be willing to see out the season before making judgments on him.

Hmm... how about:

"It is good we finished 18th. I know what it takes to win the championship"

This first comment in itself is a sackable offence. This is unforgivable in my book and I am done with this idiot now.

This is up there with "I know she's your mum but there is no getting away from it, she's got great t*ts".

Some things you just don't share.

Bad luck to lose Jackson and Guiu on transfer deadline day. Terrible squad planning as it was clear that we needed a proven striker in January. Came back to bite us with a vengeance last night.

It’s bad enough that we’ve built our team around Jackson as our focal point. It’s a disaster when he’s not there as the team were utterly clueless and could barely muster an effort on target.

This gave a demoralised Brighton side confidence as there was no threat from us and they could attack us at will. And our dodgy defence, not helped by Maresca’s constant changes, duly obliged.

Another predictable outcome. A confidence-sapping defeat made worse by how humiliating it was. Players look totally lost and disheartened and the manager looks clueless to change things around.

Honestly don’t know where we go from here. The rest of the season and Maresca’s future are now dependent on Jackson staying fit and finding his scoring touch. Good luck with that.
