Deal agreed for next summer. I don’t understand what the club is trying to do here, even as an investment signing makes no sense. We now have Ugochukwu (20yrs) £20m, Amougou (19yrs) £12m, and Essugo (20yrs) £25m. That is £57m spent on 3 DMs who aren’t ready, when we could have spent the odd £50m on a mid 20s experienced DM who covers a lot of ground, and offers physicality and presence in the middle of the park. We are genuinely missing that profile in midfield.

I have to assume Guiu, George, Nkunku, felix, mudryk as goner and we don't sign st otherwise this will get even messier.

Jackson is a much better st than neto, Palmer will start so it is basically

That still makes us weak at CB, James can't play RB anymore, Veiga isn't really a LB and has been playing CB at Juventus, Estevao is a winger, George isn't anywhere near good enough yet and the strikers are weak.

Chalobah and Nkunku are honestly the only ones we’ll have hardly any issue selling.

That will be a mistake IMO, and I don’t think Maresca will be on board with that. He said counted him alongside Jackson and Palmer as his 3 goal scorers. He is the only one of the 4 currently on our books that will hit 10 league goals come the end of the end season, will be surprised if either Neto or Sancho hit 5. That is how dire the other options are. He is also the youngest with the highest ceiling. You sell him now, and watch him become a 15 league goal scorer somewhere else

I personally dont see maduake as a player with a super high ceiling beyond what he is currently. Dont get me wrong hes an effective player on his day, but hes also prone to terrible losses of form and questionable attitude at time. I could see him going to smaller club like spurs or palace and being their star player, but not for a top team.

Doesn’t matter what Maresca wants. He does as he’s told.

I’m said start of season this was Noni’s last chance with us so he really needed to improve his game. Unfortunately hasn’t happened so fully expect him to be sold come summer.

Estevao should be starting maybe 25% of games next season.

If Maresca sticks to his possessions based, slow, controlled boring football, it doesn't matter how" exciting ' a player is, it wil be knocked out of him in order to fit the system.
