April 17, 20251 yr Carlo in for sure. All day, every day. Elite mentality, proven winner. Old school boss, already a hero for this football club. He has unfinished business here, and he will want to prove the world wrong, just like we want to.He is the second-greatest fit for a modern Chelsea manager, after Jose. Both embody everything that we want and need.
April 17, 20251 yr Not that it really matters as I'm fairly certain we will hear the news of Ancelotti being Brazil's new manager within the next few days/weeks, but you look at our squad and its in desperate need of a high profile manager that they can look up to. Ancelotti was always a man to find solutions vs sticking with a rigid system until hell freezes over.

At Napoli he didn't do well at all for example.

April 17, 20251 yr Carlo's success has always been going into successful teams and managing the big ego's, he's not the answer imo
April 17, 20251 yr Eddie Howe would also be a great pick for us, but his Newcastle project is just starting to really take off, so there is no way he leaves at the moment.

At 65, feel his best years are behind him.Much prefer someone like Alonso. Younger with fresh ideas (as opposed to Maresca who clearly has no idea).

April 17, 20251 yr I would like to see either Carlo Ancelotti as loved him a Chelsea manager or even making Jürgen klopp a blue finally!! Would love to see him managing Chelsea!
April 17, 20251 yr Is there any evidence Maresca's even under pressure from the board at Chelsea at the moment? We're all talking like he's been sacked 😂

April 17, 20251 yr To be honest whichever manager comes in I want him to speak like Tuchel did when he arrived. He came in and said we're a massive club and I wanna win things right away, and he did this knowing he had to deal with Timo, Havertz and Mount as our forward line so I don't wanna hear any sh*te about the players developing or 'the project'. Ancelotti would come in with the mindset of wanting to win stuff straight away, not that we need 4 years until we're good enough to finish in the top 4.
April 17, 20251 yr I've always wondered why we never went in for Zidane.. RM were electric under him..But, to be fair anyone will do after Maresca.

There is then a very serviceable supporting act - the likes of fofana, enzo, lavia, neto, sancho, madueke, collwill, gusto, cucu....
April 17, 20251 yr Can everybody just stop with the practical, footbally reasons why Carlo isn't a good match and let me dream?FFS, I ask for so little...🤬

We can dream.

I remember mumblings about Poch being replaced after the league cup final defeat only for reliable journalists like Ben Jacobs coming out saying his job wasn't in jeopardy and that ownership backed him.

Are we watching the same player here? What does Nkunku do well exactly? He's not fast, dribbling's nothing special, doesn't seem to be a great finisher, zero work rate, have I missed something? April 17, 20251 yr I'm all in on JT until the end of the season. I'm serious.Maresca needs to be out of the club ASAP. The football he has created is ruining perfectly good players. Surely the board can see thier investment diminishing in value. Forget the Conference. Its Micky Mouse (although they probably relate to that) . We may as well stop the rot right now and start afresh.
April 17, 20251 yr Will be another egg on the face of the owners/sporting directors if he’s sacked. A 5th permanent manager in just under three years is Watford esque , not even Abramovich went through that many. There is also zero chance they pick Ancelloti.
April 17, 20251 yr Under this ownership they went with Potter, a young exciting manager who plays wonderful football. It didn’t work out, so they went for an established name Pochettino, and it didn’t work out because of his spursy genes. Losing against Liverpool academy boys was shameful. So they went for an exciting championship manager (lol). At least with this pattern we should be going for an established name next, hopefully it will be Ancelotti but I suspect he may be too old for their liking. My guess would be Ancelotti, Inzaghi or Nagelsmann.
April 17, 20251 yr We can forget the big names because that means they would have to give up on the project. No top manager worth their salt would join us right now because of the project. Maresca in or Marseca out I don’t care, it doesn’t matter because the ones above him need to go and I’m not talking about the sporting directors. Todd and Clearlake out. We are only a few years in and it’s going to get worse.

Another 'next big thing' manager would be a disaster at this point, people don't believe in Maresca because he has nothing to back up the support.
