That result practically guarantees that @SydneyChelsea's prophecy will come true. Suppose I'd better watch it at the pub so I can at least bask in a no-doubt hilarious victory against a top side.

Awful weekend for Leicester; they lost at home and both Portsmouth and Oxford picked up unexpected wins. They're now four points from safety and Portsmouth in 21st have a game in hand. Think I can hear the bell tolling...

Move.

Sad thing is that we would struggle to beat Fulham at home. Resenoir unfortunately is a massive downgrade on Maresca who was a good (but not elite) coach.

The decent thing to do is for us to lose the City match tomorrow. Everybody must pull together to prevent an Arsenal title.

If we can loose by a lot of goals. Goal difference is in arsenal's favour atm.

Good.

Maybe you shouldn’t sign Garnacho, Delap and Gittens + completely ignore the defence if you hope to continue qualifying for the Champions League.

We need and deserve this.

Crazy that this is exactly how I feel as well.

Openly rooting against the team I’ve spent my whole life loving in the slim hopes that missing out on European football will be the wake up call the ownership needs to save this football club from the bottomless pit they’re plugging it head first down

I still think Arsenal will win it. They'll get over the line because City will slip up. They're not the Man City of 2 years ago.

Agreed Scott. We may well grab a point off them tomorrow.

I don't think we're getting any European football next season. I fully expect us to finish 10th at this point.

Agreed again. Perhaps lower, few results could see us drop down quickly.

Bang on Sconnie. Bang on.

Ideally we drop below midtable and have that same finish from their first season.

Nutshell.

Every successful team needs a strong defence and good goalkeeper!

Liverpool 2-0

That young LW we released scored

Left because he couldn’t see a pathway to the first team. Think we got £6m at arbitration, probably worth 6x that value now and only 17 yrs. Better than any winger we have currently at the club, and I would throw Estevao in the mix. 2nd start, MOTM and he has been Liverpool’s best player every time he has started. What has impressed me is he constantly on the move. He never receives the ball and tries to pass immediately, instead he engages the FB. Had 25 carries v Fulham, 10 of them were progressive carries and carried it for 280m. Our best progressive ball carrier is Estevao, and in his best game in a blue shirt v Port Vale had 19 carries, with 5 of them being progressive carries, and carried it for 165m.

Something remarkable is how he has made Liverpool obligated to either play him or sell him. Signed a 3yr at the beginning of the season, and earning £20k/w. Liverpool chose not to sign another winger in order not to block his pathway, making him backup to Gakpo. You ask any Liverpool fan and he should be their first choice LW, and has been criminally underutilised by Slot. As long as he doesn’t sign an improved contract at the end of the season, he will be central to their transfer plans. If he doesn’t get enough game time next season, he can either run down his contract or demand a move in his final year.

We have some ridiculous talents in our U21 and U18 squad who are both top of their respective leagues that we risk going the way of Ngumoha. Barca are interested in Ibrahim Rabbaj who plays for our u18s but is a hell of a talent. Mhueka is entering the final year of his contract and won’t hang around.

£2.8m with add-ons that could take it to £6m. Plus a 20% sell on clause. Very small beer.

As funny as it would be spurs won’t be relegated. They have enough in their team to get out and new manager bounce will probably work this time with s better manager
