I'm counting on us to destroy Arsenal and their defence when we play them.

Plus can't have them breaking our title winning defensive record, no way José !

I would just take a goal at this point. They're looking pretty unstoppable at the moment. Defensively way too strong, easily the best in the world right now, and capable of grabbing a goal from any set piece. It may be ugly, but it's going to win them major titles if they keep it up.

8 league games 3 goals conceded.

3 CL games 0 goals conceded.

Credit where it is due, that is something we once took a lot of pride in.

There is no doubt in my mind that La Liga is corrupt. If Barcelona or Real Madrid are struggling, the refs will help them.

In the history of the sport, this has never been a red card. In a time where VAR is available, situations like this should never happen, but it did.

Corrupt officiating.

What came of the investigation into Barca paying the head of the refs' organisation for, um, consultancy? Presumably nowt.

They added squad depth where previously it was lacking. And not children, either.

Arsenal are winning one of the PL or CL this season, I’ve resigned myself to the fact.

They play the absolute worst brand of football and now everyone will copycat this ‘blueprint’ for the next decade.

It’s nice to finally escape all this Pep-lite bo**ocks but Arteta-lite might be even worse!

Nah, Atletico are right sh*t. Liverpool were god awful against them and still won. Napoli too look really poor.

England will get the 5th spot again.

Conte really is cursed in Europe. It just never goes right for him, a real mark on his legacy.

Napoli had a poor summer on reflection, the KDB signing wasn’t what they needed, they were crying out for winger; funnily enough Sterling would have been the better option from the Premier League. Now, Conte is having to go from 433 to a 4141 kinda thing to accommodate KDB. The ‘excuse’ is that now everyone has sussed out McTomminay, it’s ok to shove him wide left; which is bullsh*t, as teams had an entire season (start to finish) to try and stop his exploits but couldn’t. Lukaku and now Hojlund injuries haven’t helped either.

Pat Nevin on Liverpool last night...

"There was an energy as well about the team, which helped quite a bit. But, they were playing against a side that gave away chance after chance.

"Frankfurt had clear limitations with their defending and Liverpool made good use of it."

We used to mock arse playing tippy tappy small ball, now it is completely reversed.

Strasbourg drew 1-1 with Jagiellonia Bialystok last night. Kendry Paez played centrally rather than wide and did well, looking forward to him arriving next season. Decent game although Strasbourg wasted many chances.

I hope that didn't have anything to do with our striker signing from them for next season LOL

Emegha ? hes injured i think

Or Panichelli 8 goals in 11 games not sure hes due in 2026 but with this ratio he might be.

lol the bin dippers lost again. The only highlight of the weekend for me.

However i bet they take more action re their slump than we do re our predicament.

How though? They aren’t going to get rid of Slot anytime soon, he has bought himself till Dec at the minimum. Not even sure he can take all blame, they just bought all the wrong players. You would think no one else could piss away money like our lot, but Liverpool have trumped them.

For f**ks sake City just get your sh*t together we can't have Arsenal win the league f**king hell

It's done mate.

The "expert" YouTube fans will tell you "the league is not won in october".

DamaGe is done though. Pool and city have dropped too many points amd that Arsenal defensive structure is just too damn good this season.

Remind me of Jose's first stint. We knew all we needed was one goal, out defence was keeping a clean sheet most games.
