Jackson transfer

He's averaging a G/A every 90 minutes for Bayern Munich. There should be a tonne of clubs wanting to pay 40-50m for him.

I don't know how you define this loan as a disaster.

I would very very happily have him back in the squad next year as backup. No chance our muppets sign anyone as good as him for the budget we probably will have.

So according to you he's been so succesful on loan and yet BM don't want him. According to you there should be a tonne of clubs wanting him for 40-50 million and yet..... there isn't. Just like there wasn't last summer.

Delap has been garbage agreed. Fair enough. Doesn't mean you bring back another heap of garbage that you already know is garbage. That isn't going to make it better.

But then on the other hand, a frontline containing both Jacko and Garnacho is going to generate a million football comedy gifs that will have us, and every football fan, laughing for eternity.

He’s one of the experienced players the useless f**ks are bringing in next season isn’t he…

It is part of the new change in strategy. We will be bringing him back along with Joao Felix, Hakim Ziyech, and Ian Maatsen.

I think there's a few steps between "been so successful that the best side in Europe wants to buy him for £65m" and "its been a disaster". I'd place him towards the higher end of that.

Yes, there should be a tonne of clubs who want to sign him for 40-50m, Newcastle are linked apparently. I think clubs like that should be all over him, he's going to score goals. He's done that consistently for the last 3 seasons, at the top level.

Bayern Munich arent going to buy him. They also are the best side in Europe, I imagine they can get someone better.

But we aren't going to. Not as a backup to Joao Pedro. Hate all you want, but name a better Chelsea striker since Giroud left other than Joao Pedro?

We shouldn't have got rid of our 12-14 goal a season attacker until we had a suitable up to speed replacement in place.

I think Joao Pedro is on 14.

With Jackson there was always an attitude problem perhaps after being on the sidelines at BM he will be more flexible if he was going to come back.

Ultimately he is coming back, we are unlikely to get s credible offer from anyone, our other options, bar Pedro, are even worse and I doubt we will have money to buy anyone.

So all that means he is back in the mix to be our centre forward or occadional left winger next season and we need to slightly grin and bear it.

It's going to be another fun season on here!

Delap is on 2 but he appears to have an excellent attitude and is as effective on the bench as he is on the pitch.

I'm not sure if he was less effective than Garnacho Gittens Buonotte Guiu and Delap

He’s one of the few players we have that we could sell and book an accounting profit on, so I fully expect him to leave again in the summer.

I think you’re right, and I hope so too. Rather him than Josh or other pure profit sales.

The thing is we have bought badly again, Garnacho, Gittens, Delap sadly aren’t any better. It’s terrible squad building where we are keeping worse players than we are selling but we’re in a hole.

Book value of £22m. Factor in the BM loan fee, he owes us £8m.

I’d like to see Morata & Timo too.

Call me mad but still think there is a player there in Delap. The move is just 2 seasons of regular football too early. I would sell Delap but include a buyback & sell on clause.

Club is a mess though; I can see them selling Delap & Jackson, and keeping a greener Emegha as backup.

Nothing I've seen at Strasbourg says he's PL standard.

If he is back, then I fear I am going to get banned..... because I wont be able to put up with those defending him.

I am reading this between trying to book a trip to Vietnam - with a stint in a place called Tam-Coc. After reading this, I think perhaps I should look to see if they have a place called bull-gash

Honestly.... some of the people on this forum are morons if they think this fraud of a player should be given another chance here. Moronic nonsense.

No, they're just sensible and aren't agenda driven when the alternatives are Delap and Guiu, two players who aren't Premier League level, and Emegha who looks like the most nailed on flop I've ever seen.

The lunatic fringe. I've blocked them.

imagine Jacko bamboozling defenders and bamboozling himself playing for us again. Don't tell me you didn't guffaw sometimes ? Delap doesn't have the same comic timing unfortunately does he ?

Mudryk and his wayward shots are sadly missed in laugh out loud reaction videos too.

Jackson is 25 in June. Guiu only turned 20 in January. I see way more technical ability and physicality in Guiu than I do in Jackson.
