Liam Rosenior - Chelsea Head Coach *Now Sacked*

Liam didn't lose the dressing room. He never had the dressing room. Ever. From the beginning.

These players (all players) are not looking for a coach with "potential" - they are looking for a Grown Up with experience.

They're just people looking for someone competent to be their boss. We all have experience working for managers that are sh*t at jobs but continually waffle or kiss ass to higher ups.

It's bad enough that his trophy cabinet's nonexistent as a player and coach, he also makes questionable sub decision and the interviews did not help.

Based on his final post match press conferences, he talks about having team meetings, unit meetings, individual meetings which paints an unhealthy picture behind the scenes.

Probably now BlueCo will decide to exercise the "satisfied or refunded" option and return Rosenoir to Strasbourg.

Now the question is, will they give us Gary O'Neil, or simply a "voucher for the purchase of No. 1 coach", spendable on any team owned by BlueCo?

Get big Conte back. No messing

It obviously won't happen but a strong, no bullsh*t coach like Conte is exactly what is needed. This crop of players need someone to tell them they ain't as good as they think they are and you get on the wrong side of him and you're history (as Costa found out).

He was progressing well with his career but has been thrown to the slaughter by BlueCo and these coward players. Hopefully he can push on and carry on developing and this isn't the end of a promising career like Graham Potter.

I know it would have been hard to turn it down but this outcome was clear and obviuse before the ink on his contract was signed, Fail forward and fast is not really an option in top level football. He had no resume and ultimately couldn't get the team to buy in to anything.

Very few people can skip the important steps in life, even Lampard who i think did a great job with us wasn't actually ready for the job. You can' buy borrow or steal experience and we now have enough data points to know this.

Owners are clearly hoping for another Pep(Barca) or Arteta. They fail to realise Pep is generational and Arteta had to spend 1 and a half billion on his own players and over half a decade and still can't win anything.

Young players need ready made experience to help them grow, i don't get how the SD'd keep failing to realise this.

Think it will be a case of his ego getting in the way. He will think he is a better manager than he is, and will decline low level jobs. You already have that with him saying CL clubs were interested in his services.

“Chelsea paid nearly €3 million in compensation to Strasbourg in January to sign Liam Rosenior, and will have to pay about him €13 million to terminate his contract, which runs until 2032.“

For a 4 month role. Heads should roll in a normal business, but we aren’t normal.

Reportedly a payout of one year of his contract.

"Clearlake Capital and Todd Boehly) works within an "integrated football leadership structure" where they set the overall strategy, but co-sporting directors Paul Winstanley and Laurence Stewart are responsible for executing the transfer policy.

While Winstanley and Stewart have "enthusiastic backing" and recently signed contract extensions to lead the transfer business, they operate under a rigid, data-driven framework heavily influenced by the owners' high-level goals."

Those supporters still on the fence or worse buying into "the project" better hurry to join us for the funeral procession of the worm-infested, rotting corpse of the once glorious Chelsea Football Club.

Winstanley and Stewart would never agree to bring in an experienced coach with an experienced team, because the fraud they have perpetrated would be exposed. They will continue to sell Eghbali (because the rest of BlueCo are AWOL or busy touting seats) on the lie that an inexperienced coach is somehow better financial value and that coaches magically improve like young players in Football Manager.

However given PR comments about experience, they might settle on a compromise option - someone who gives the veneer of experience, but isn't big enough to expose the fraud, and would tolerate working under the idiot quintet.

It just so happens that three of those type of managers - de Zerbi, Nuno Espirito Santo and Daniel Farke - exist, and at least one will be readily available in a few weeks.

He meant clubs in the 3rd qualifying round.

Here came the scapegoat, so others could prosper at the club for a few more years. At least Liam get a handsome paid out, and already shared something in common with legends like Jose and Carlo. It was never the right appointment, most of us knew it from day 0, but these mugs went for it anyway, and kicked him out while he's down.

I started going in 1978 with Ken shellito in charge. The surprising thing is I’ve seen us play under 34 of the 44 managers in our history! Ron Suart filled in during changes in management so may be only 9

A few quotes from the great man

“Coaching is not about the coach; coaching is about the players. Coaching is about the people you work with and getting the best out of people and serving people.

"It’s not about telling people what to do; it’s about allowing people to grow and become better.”

“The biggest lesson I learnt from doing my UEFA B, A and Pro licences here was the importance of connection with people. As a coach that’s my biggest job: to get players to believe in me, to be authentic and to be a good person who works with trust and loyalty.

Likewise. Considering that Jose's time was split between 2 stints at the club, the longest serving manager I have witnessed was John Neal. I have no doubt that he would have served longer had his health allowed, and likely that team would have continued to progress rather than the deterioration under Holins.

Make no mistake about this he was thrown into a position he wasn’t ready for but the clowns wanted someone they could control.

No to level manager would/will touch these clowns. They have been rightly exposed and I am somewhat surprised the media have now turned their canons towards them.

Every single journalist worth their salt is ripping the frauds a new one and I am enjoying it immensely.

I've said it before but damn, it really is Enron.

I feel Maresca is massively overrated by everybody, not this fanbase, everybody else. I’m seeing a lot of stuff about how he was a genius, I swear a lot of people have really short memories.

To quote the operation mincemeat musical (you should all go see it, it’s the best);

“For when you need a moron to tackle a task
You call him a genius and he'll do what you ask”

Interesting read and I would take it with a massive pinch of salt. These “sources “ close to senior players(whatever that means) seems to want lay blame at the Spanish speaking players.

I don’t believe these nonsense after Jose last spell where the press tried to get us to turn against Cesc and Hazard.

I think remember that woman with the sign that said Rat or some nonsense like that.

Thanks for sharing. It is encouraging to read that McFarlane is liked by the players as a coach. Hopefully, that will help as we navigate the last few matches of the season.
