First few pages of this thread has posts like this. We are at a point where we a run by people with zero common sense. Explains as much in our account sheets.
April 22Apr 22 I wish fans would stop believing that a different manager is the solution.. The project that our owners have imposed on.our club is the problem... from the SD's they have appointed to carry out their transfer policy, from the record spending and subsequent record financial losses, from the managers they have appointed.... those decisions and others have been responsible for the destruction of the elite football club that they bought..Hiring and then firing within months the guy THEY appointed is another example of their continuing mismanagement of our great football club.. It continues and will not change..It will only get worse.

The hatred for the ownwers is clouding peoples judgement on him. For me they take some credit for getting shot when ther realised they made a huge mistake, one i would be suprised if they make next time.

I’ve seen nothing but universal agreement he had to go, but that it solves absolutely none of our deeper issues

April 22Apr 22 I have zero confidence in the owners/board. Sacking Rosenior solves nothing, their youth project is a failure. That's what has to change. I still don't see us beating an in form Leeds team.

Our owners have bought into our Sporting Directors grand plan rather than the other way around. Rosenior is maybe 30% to blame. Stewart and Winstanley are much more culpable.
April 22Apr 22 Notice how carefully Romano chose his words. "Important" manager. Not "Elite" or "World Class". We're f**ked lads. Liquidate the club. This time next year we are going to be in the very same place.
April 22Apr 22 Just now, Caps_Lock_King said:No BUT whoever takes the job needs to have it in their contractThe manager picks the teamNo outside interferenceNo one is allowed in the changing room before or after the gameI'm afraid it won't matter. This is the weakest squad we’ve had since Roman took over. The excitement over some very promising young players may be masking the pretty obvious holes in squad building. It's really not that surprising is it? it's the same folks who hired Liam Rosenior.I just hope for someone who is tactically savvy and have the respect of the players. Maresca was that--warts and all. Edited April 22Apr 22 by acaeus
April 22Apr 22 i agree we know blueco have made many big mistakes , including the SD`S and rosenior .at least they realise rosenior was a total mistake, that they have admitted by not being afraid to sacked him. also although i feel sorry for liam he also holds some responsibility for taking a managers job he just didnt have anywhere near enough experience for. now we need to step back and make no more kneejerks decisions. we have most of summer. finally there are many players that are not good enough for premier league let alone chelsea. there are also many players as we saw against the seagulls , that showed the club means nothing to them , i feel they can go as well.

I very much doubt it, so I don't expect much to change. Can see the administration under duress, appointing an experienced and proven manager, and also a smattering of proven and experienced players in the Summer. The experiment has catastrophically failed, and the ownership must now be aware of this. 2 Billion down the karzi
April 22Apr 22 He may have been hopeless but I'm not sure the owners have it in them to pick the right manager.Heck even with the right manager I'm not convinced our players will put in the work they should be, or the owners support them.

This time next year we are going to be in the very same place.Because as I keep saying any elite world class manager would not take this job now even if they don’t have anything else. With this current ownership only young and upcoming managers would risk it. It’s a win win for them but payday when/if they get sacked and their reputation will not be damaged.

April 22Apr 22 Now please take the easy win and get JT in the coaching team. If he wants it, I think he’d offer so much from an assistant role
April 22Apr 22 I hope the club understands we've got about a 1% chance of winning the FA Cup because their effing useless player strategy is a total failure.
April 22Apr 22 There’s no chance they’d give JT a senior role because he wouldn’t tolerate their bullsh*t. Also he’s busy stopping the small boats right now.
