How can so many see it yet a select few can’t.With the utmost respect for Rosenior, he simply isn’t ready for the role.Id suggest that Iraola would have been even more unequipped for the role. And he had a lot of backers here. I think Rosenior won't be right. But I've been certain he's out next manager for a long long time so have come to terms with it. If he can put players in the right positions and not overthink things, we should still finish top 5. Until we get an elite manager who is allowed to challenge the board, we won't win the title. But I think there's a few names + -- Southgate, Iraola - who would have sent us way down the league.
January 2Jan 2 Ahh f**k it, just give Andy Peters the job and be done with it.it’s all f**ked anyway.
January 2Jan 2 I remember I quite liked him as a player (possibly influenced by Football Manager). He was the original Kyle Walker-Peters.

January 2Jan 2 FWIW I think he could make a good manager one day and didn't do that a bad job at Hull.Hull have and tried and fired many managers since.I do however think this is a huge step and with the boards recruitment and rotation policy he doesn't stand much of a chance.I'll be fully behind him of course if he lands the job and the plus side could be he won't do weird things like Maresca.I actually feel sorry for him, he'll be thrown in at the deep end if he says yes and if he says no he is unlikely to be asked again.I just hope fans remember that the board is the real problem not Liam Rosenior. No top manager is gonna come to Chelsea under the current conditions.I wish him good luck, he's gonna need it. Penders got pelters over that as well. Fking morons. One thing i would say is that this lad would have been in the system for what, a dozen years, from about 7 or 8. At no stage during his entire time in academy football, scholarship or pro contracts, would he have been coached to have played like that. Then gets pelters cos the idiot manager wants him playing as a sweeper.

January 2Jan 2 If the owners were smart they'd brief that we were interested in ten Hag. The fans would then readily accept whatever semi-competent lickspittle they threw at us.

He has been managing in the strongest league in European football since 2023. In what way would he be less equipped than Rosenoir, who has never taken a top flight game

Doesn't bat an eyelid when you strip away all his good players every season ... 😎

January 2Jan 2 As with player recruitment, we're dividing ouselves over manager appointments. Lets keep focus on the board. they're the ones who need to go, they have recruited managers and players not up to the calibur of the league. 23 minutes ago, BlauweReetAap said:He gets baited easily lolTwo things here, one, depressing seeing Chilwell playing there knowing what we now know about the bomb squad. Love a manager who gets sparky on the touchline, sick of these emotionless data sifting droid bot managers. Perhaps he can fire the side up to perform in the first 45 mins of games.

Maresca just smiled and tried to pat him on the back? What kind of Italian is he? Even Ancelotti as cool as he is would’ve decked that trophyless d**khead.

By all accounts a good guy but his football sucked the life out of the club. I can see him at a club like Juve... Best of luck in his future career, I hope we wallop any sides he's manager of in future playing progressive football. As for our next potential manager. He's going to need some brass tacks and fire this lot up for the remainder of the season. All players back in contention.
January 2Jan 2 At least Rosenior has first hand experience of seeing a decent Chelsea team in action ... and hence to understand the standards required ! He played against us 6 times between 2005 and 2008 :
