    Chelsea will hold a minute's applause and wear black armbands in tribute to former manager Eddie McCreadie tonight.

    The former Scotland defender died aged 85 yesterday and his memory will be celebrated at Stamford Bridge.

    McCreadie, who was once hailed by Tommy Docherty as the best left-back in Europe, went on to manage the London club to promotion from the second division while in financial ruin.

    Whoever has a small problem can join us and get a good treatment, plus another six months to a year of his minutes carefully managed.

    Results don't really matter. That doctor on the bench is the true boss of this team.

    Rosenior said it is more important to arrive with a fully fit squad near the end of the season when things heat up. How can things be hot during that time if you are already out from all competitions because of "players getting their minutes managed"???

    Two Hopes tonight…..Bob and none…but this team is full of surprises so who knows, our young manager might pull something out of his arse….although I can’t imagine what.

    I love Caicedo and he has lots of credit in the bank... But him sarcastically clapping the ref while being 1 booking away from a semi final suspension after coming back from a 3 match ban is putting us in a whole lot of trouble.
