I wonder if many of them knew Chelsea before Abramovich bought the club.If I chanted ‘I want my Chelsea back’, I might be even further from wining a trophy than we are now.And that’s the thing with football and life, nothing stays the same.Anyway, I’m off to go and chant ‘I want my twenties back’ at myself. And I’ll get a great turn out because all of me is going!I can certainly relate to that Snedger. Fair play to those who did turn up but it all looked very half hearted and lacklustre to be honest.
January 18Jan 18 Doubt the protests will take hold until we are out of competitions and/or out of contention for the CL.

Personally, I want Clear Lake to sell up if the model they are going to go with is something they are going to continue with. I want a football first owner, one that is looking to create a team that is competitive, not fill it up with kids with their eyes on making profit on them in the future. I want a quality football MANAGER (not Head Coach) that is the right man to take us forward and grow, not a yes man that has other members of staff influencing team selections. I want an owner that is honest with the fans instead of putting out PR pieces trying to pretend everything that has happened was planned and not just gaslighting. I'm not entitled to enough to demand we win every trophy, but I would like an ownership that is ambitious enough to believe that that will one day be a reality, because why not? Why shouldn't we have these ambitions that the biggest clubs have? It's not something I believe Clear Lake are interested in though. I feel like everything that happens on the pitch is money motivated. They want Champions League because of the money, they wanted the Club World Cup because of the money. I'm also very concerned with the football people they have hired, like Joe Shields and the Kinetic connection. It feels like to me that there are those involved with the club that are using it to help their mates get high profile jobs rather than putting what is best for Chelsea first. If they feel I and many others are wrong about all of this, then I welcome them to tell me that. Why can't they speak to us? They have all of the tools in place to communicate to us properly, but all I ever see is media mouth pieces on Twitter or on Sky doing what comes across as damage control and or trying to control a narrative. I see Boehly just ignoring the CST, why? This is also another major problem I have with him and Clear Lake. Their complete lack of wanting to create any kind of relationship with the fans. They're so distant with us, they view as customers (their words) not fans. They were quick to remove so much of that connection with the fanbase when they came in, and anybody that raised concerns (Pat Nevin) were thrown out the door. Abramovich wasn't a big talker, I barely ever saw him outside of match days, but the fans felt a connection with him because he had Chelsea's best interest at heart, even if he did make mistakes. I feel everything about the club is being hollowed out by these owners.
January 19Jan 19 What is wrong with Blueco is the same as what is wrong with capitalism in general. They own Chelsea football club as an investment portfolio and they will sell to another bunch of americans at some point or maybe some arabs? We are not entering the transfer market to make money buying and selling players - this is a real misconception of recent years. They are building the brand and preparing the way for the ESL - European Soccer League. Vulture capitalism brought about by all the ESN* muppets who voted for BreXit. * Educationally Sub Normal
January 19Jan 19 I was having lunch today holding my daughter and it kinda hit me again I haven’t once checked when our next match is or who we are playing. I don’t care anymore it doesn’t matter because we have the inmates running the asylum. They have sucked every ounce of joy I had in CFC.We are the comedy club now….I can’t even laugh at Arsenal again and poke fun at United or Spurs we are …f**kED!!!!We need an experience CB and these c**ts are going to once again sign an unproven teenager for upwards of €64 million euros. It beggars belief these assholes think they are doing a good job.

It doesn't seem like the fans are ready for that yet, and the Bridge being pretty much full proves that too.United have been protesting for over a decade and the Glazer's are still there. The only time the Glazers finally started taking notice was between 2021 and 2022, when protests started getting heated. Protests are going to need to be big, angry and well organised, really disrupt things. Singing the previous owners name and bringing a few banners isn't going to cut it.I think the Glazer's are different in that from the start they were able to extract millions from the club every season as well as lumbering the club with the debt that the Glazer's used to buy the club. Same as happened in the Thames Water privatisation. .

This is Capitalism.
February 5Feb 5 I thought it sold out. Loads on ticket exchange. I couldn’t go and couldn’t give it away!

February 8Feb 8 Sadly, fans only protest when the team is doing badly. With Rosenior bagging some wins, people will be less likely to protest until we drop form again.

I bet that not many would protest.

It didn’t happen at the end, but it was set to happen and they’ll keep pressing for it, I’m sure. It wouldn’t surprise me if this was done in the PL, having more viewers in the US than La Liga, and it wouldn’t surprise me that our sh*t owners were already counting the money they’d receive for it.
February 13Feb 13 We could protest at Kingsmeadow but none of the oxygen thieves bother to go, they’re ruining that club remotely.

This is their actual plan to make money out of the club, by increasing the total commercial value of the league even if it is at the expense of the integrity of the football. If they are able to influence the league to make changes they will massively profit all while never needing to lift a finger or spend a cent on Chelsea.
