Chelsea vs Pafos (UCL) Wednesday 21st January 20:00 GMT

Well we got the win but it hasn't really inspired any confidence that we are going in the right direction. An unlikely win next week at Napoli might finish us in the top 8, but Napoli are currently looking at elimination and will need a win next week to make the playoffs. We are going to have to do significantly better.

Did anybody consider goal difference may come in, when we were arsing around?

No urgency, poor performance, very lacklustre

Conti will have Napoli up for it next week…if we have the same intensity as tonight we’ll get battered

Sweepstake on the number of players that Liam thought were outstanding tonight ?

I'll go with 6

i'll go 3

Just cant see Rosenior lasting here. Players dont look like they buy into whatever it is he wants.

Id be surprised if he is in charge 1st game of next season.

We also employ some terrible footballers too, Fofana, Garnacho, Delap, Gittens plus more.

Every game is like driving past a car crash, you have to look, but its not pretty, and you regret it afterwards.

Disappointed with that scoreline. We could lose out to goal difference even if we beat Napoli.

If we do manage a win, we will go above Newcastle, PSG, or both since they play each other. But a few of the teams below us have a decent chance to improve their goal difference based on their opposition. It will definitely be close even with a win. We could have done with a couple more goals tonight for sure.

We got a clean sheet but Fofana and his lazy approach on the ball is unforgivable.

The defenders, to a man, have spent two years being berated for moving the ball too quickly by Maresca.

It is going to take a very long time for anyone to undo that problem, albeit Rosenior does not look like is going to be the one to even try.

Rosenior actually claims that slow moving of the ball along the back line is a fundamental cornerstone of his footballing philosophy. He's just getting started.

Well credit to Pafos. But we were pretty awful.

Not sure what Delap was doing out there. Somehow managed to not get into a decent position for the whole time he was on the pitch.

Yeah hard to give credit when we are that bad.

Us have Caicedo for a full 90, James and Estevao for 45.

Most Important super Garnacho...
