I’ve never seen a club praise a youngster as much as they have with Acheampong whilst at the same time not play him.

They are avoiding accountability because of Acheampong.

Come to think of it, how on earth could we have even registered him in europe given the current sanctions?

It was an attempt to deflect from the embarrassment of Maresca walking out on them. We were never seriously in for him. United have been doing this for years every time something goes wrong at the club.
