Good that he's match fit but PL is a step up from the standard in French League and AFCoN.

Aye, it is. He only gets to make that stwp up by playing though. If he can make it.

It’s a terrible indictment of the state of world football that from the entire French league and the AFCoN to playing against Wolverhampton Wanderers is a step up.

Is there any player anywhere in the whole wide world who can make the step up to Premier League football? I sometimes wonder where the PL got all these players from to make up twenty 40 player squads. Given most English players are a bit rubbish and massively overpriced and the majority of players are from overseas, it’s a mystery how the PL has become of such an incredible standard.

No idea what team LR, or the SDs will pick today. Expect rotation, and anticipating a back line of Malo, Trev, Badiashile, Hato.

What we need is our strongest 11, no messing around. Start with intent. Ideally get full backs overlapping as it gives so much space to Neto (left) and Estevao (right), just like second half vs West Ham.

controversial thought - bench Caicedo today, and play santos and Enzo as a pair? I prefer Enzo higher by Caicedo looks shattered. Be like the Burnley away game again!

Anybody else not getting any notifications from the club app about line-ups and scores? My settings are still on push notifications, but lately I've received f**k all.

Fernández starts his 57th game of the calendar year. At some point he's gonna get injured and someone at some level at the club will go 'oh no how could this possibly have happened?'

Still no Acheampong. Would rather have seen Estêvão than Neto, but obviously it's the law that you have to start players against their former clubs so fair enough.

Come on Chels! Great opportunity this weekend to put some daylight between us and Liverpool.

I noticed that they were slow / late in updating the match centre for the midweek game v Arsenal for team line ups compared to usual.

45 minutes for Palmer and 45 minutes for Estevao?

The italians did this in 1970 world cup - Mazzola and Rivera ?
