Unfortunately its not up to Todd

He made himself sporting director at the outset because he and Clearlake let everyone else go…he admitted he had no idea what he was doing

The very essence of why football stats are moot without context.

We were only competitive against PSG for approximately 60 minutes until our suicidal man for man press was exposed.

Last 45 minutes of the 2nd leg PSG essentially sat back and gave us the ball because they knew the likes of Neto, Garnacho, and Delap would shoot it straight at the keeper.

The sad thing about these two matches against PSG is that we made them look like the PSG of a year before and this is the first thing to happen for them this season. And it is mid March already.

They have been average at best so far this season. Going head to head with Lens for the league title and could not even make it to top 8 of the UCL league phase. Beaten by Sporting in Portugal, even Spurs put 3 past them in Paris and they drew 0-0 with Bilbao who are a mess this season.

Yet we made them look like world beaters. It is sad. But it just tells how big of a mess we are. Riddled with individual mistakes and amateur decisions from top to bottom.

Unbelievable to be almost entering the fifth year of the so called "project" and have mid table goalkeepers, bang average center backs and not a single competent winger, apart from a newly arrived Brazilian youngster who has not even played that much this season. Shocking really.

EDIT - Forgot to add - Monaco was also a 95th minute header away from taking this PSG into extra time in the UCL playoff phase. And that header was a huge miss, inches away.

True but could also be that PSG are coming into form at the right time for the business end of the Champions League. Last season they barely made it out the group stage of Champs League too.

That passing of the note to Garnacho with 5 minutes to go, 8-2 down is the most performative thing I’ve ever seen from a manager, embarrassing, pathetic, cringe, and will forever be in my mind when thinking of him now. That’s the legacy.

I don't think I would have been able to hold back if I was in Garnacho's shoes. I'm usually one for saying the players should always respect the head coach, but how can you respect that? He's just coached our worst defeat in Champions League history, and he's giving out silly instructions on a piece of paper like the game is in the balance.

Rosenior is a fraud. Nothing he does comes across authentic, he's play acting.

They were within a hair's breadth of being knocked out by Monaco (!) and are struggling to stay ahead of Lens in L1. The reality is that Rosenoir set up to play them in the worst possible way, applying zero pressure, letting them play to their strengths. He played them back into form for the night.

I agree with that too. But I won't be surprised if, with a big slice of our help, they now make a deep run in the Champs League.

Won't be surprised if Liverpool knock them out.

PSG got their revenge on us, a they enjoyed it eminencely.

They knocked Liverpool out last year at a anfield so they will want their own pay back

I believe in the goodness of people, so I'm convinced the note instructed Garnacho to take down everybody's order to save time in the pub.

I think it just said "you'd have come on 20 minutes earlier if you hadn't blabbed our line up to your brother ... "

Totally. City gifted them that UCL trophy basically. 2-0 up in Paris and ended up losing the game. PSG were out had they not won that game.
