Lampard all the way for me. Completely bossed the midfield, some excellent touches and bags of creativity and imagination. Keep it coming

Chose Joe Cole but would of had lamps share it if I could lol, I think the way Joey came into that game off an injury to not only score but was everywhere in the first half and made soem great tackles.

He just beat Lamps as I found Lamps to be a little selfish with a couple of those shots late on in the game, he had Di Santo open twice and he took the shot.

Great game and what a spirited performance from the team and the crowd. Well done anyone who was at the Bridge today because you guys made a lot fo noise :D

Also what a great player Ivnovic is ! Lucky he did not go to AC Milan ! Well played Di Santo as well.

Very difficult - Frank Lampard, Ashley Cole, Mikel, and Bosingwa were all excellent, as was Joe Cole before he went off ... it almost comes down to picking straws, but I think Ashley Cole really looked the part.

Lots of good performances , but it just has to be Lampard.

Im too young to remember but i can only assume that Beckenbauer used to run matches like like

I voted for Lampard but Malouda needs to be mentioned definitely. Under Scolari, he has regained the confidence he had at Lyon and is coming back to his best.

He combined very well with Lampard today, especially when Cole scored.

And in all honesty, this was one of our best performances under the Scolari and he definitely needs to be hailed. Good debut for Ivanovic also, I'd like to see him more often.

Lampard for me. Made a mockery of the suggestion that Barry is ahead of him in any way.

Ashley Cole was also fantastic and Joe Cole had one of his best matches for a while - he really was "here, there, every-f**king-where".

Oh, and Ivanovic was brilliant too. Against a very fast and physical forward line he never looked anything other than comfortable.

Lampard - no one is better than him at the moment.

Capello was there watching too, shame Barry ended up in Lamps' pocket.

Lampard for me as well. As a trio I thought Ballack, Lampard and Mikel were superb today and totally bossed Villa (especially Barry who was running around like a headless chicken).

All the above, great overall performance .Lamps shades it with special mentions for Malouda who could be an important player for us now, building up a good understanding with Ash as well. Just hope we dont now pick up any injuries during the international break.

F.M.W.G........lamps was awsome he and Ballack really clicked, cash and Bossie lookas good as anyone, and special mention for cashley he looked like the marauding LB/LW whoused to play for the Arse,Ivanovic looked good ,hope he gets a run in the team,But deffo lamps MOTM top of the class A+

Lampard and Mikel were in a class of their own today, but Lampard shaded it.

I also thought Ivanovic did really well, solid as a rock.

just watched the highlights and it looked a great team performance, midfield all superb and stand out to me on what I saw was Ashley and Frank...

gave my vote to Frank maybe because they talked him up after the game enough to convince me :128:

Best team performance I have seen for a long time. Many contnders for MOTM, especially Ash, who was a 9 out of ten. But Lamps was a 9.5 as he was everywhere and totally bossed the midfield, so it Lamps for me.

Special mention too for Anelka who had his best 45 mins for us by far. He really did look the part. Shame he went off but then again it was also good to see Di Santo get a decent run out.
