loz
2009 FA CUP CHAMPIONS!!! For me there are only three contenders - Ashley Cole, Mikel and Malouda. Cole gets my vote, despite the heat he got up and down the left flank non stop for 90 minutes.
blueday3
Absolutely A. Cole best left back in the world. This summer, work on that shot!
dkw
3 best players were ashley cole, malouda and mikel but i gave it to cole simply because ot the incredible amount of effort he puts in. he has to be one of the fittest players in world football. unbelieveable. TheWestwayWonder
Nothing against Frank or Malouda, or any of the players today. But Ashley Cole (no more Cashley from me, even as a term of endearment) bossed this game like I didnt think a fullback ever could. When we were going up the left, he was composed, quick and deliberate with the ball. When the ball was on the right flank, he drifted into the middle, and took the ball like he was a box to box midfielder He's a f**king great player, and above all a CHELSEA PLAYER
wicksy
Was a close call between Malouda and Cole for me, but I went for Cole who was outstanding from start to finish (who the f**k was Billy Gallas?) But credit to Malouda who was excellent and scored a cracking 3rd goal...

Orangutan
Although Ashley got the official nod deservedly, I've gone for Malouda who made an inch-perfect cross to set up the first goal and who scored the (not-given) third. Was absolutely a menace all day long. Really they both were. The left wing at times this season seemed a big weakness but certainly not today. Malouda and Ashley were terrific. mad_mac
I actually went for Malouda as I've stood by him since we got him (albeit I did lose some faith mid season but I put that down to Scolari), he was great today, fully terrorized their RB's (even when the sub was made). Cole was impecable too, so they should get the joint vote. And Mikel, other than his mouthing off, looks to be developing into the player we all hoped he'd become! Ruh Buh Juh
I went for Malouda too, absolutely awesome performance, didn't do anything wrong all game :D Credit to Ashley and Mikel and Lampard
goose
Could have been one of the four already mentioned but I've went for Cole. He's topped of a fantasic season with one of the best full back displays I have seen. Thanks Cheryl for getting him so fit, you must be really working him at home. Modueke
Florent Malouda-louda-louda Florent Malouda! Him and Ash cremed them on that left wing and Malouda did score from the screamer in off the cross-bar. I guess it doesn't matter as we won it, but may have been very different if Everton got back into it after the ref called it a no goal! Mention for all the players, all worked hard and done the fans and Guus proud! I would say something about Ballack but it's not about negativity today. Without goal line technology, and since the linesman was correctly placed about 30 yards up from the goalline, there was no way they could have given that goal. It's too bad, but those things happen. charierre
Malouda for me , not sure what Guus has said to him but he's a changed player. Ash did well up and down the wing too.
BlueBeard
Malouda for me, he was a threat throughout the match. Ashley put in a great performance, but Anelka was bloody good too,

PraetorianGuard
I voted for Ballack. His presence in the midfield bored every Everton player out of the game.
BlueBosnian
I have to say I had Cole in mind before they announced him as the MOTM in the 87th minute. Voted for him here too. Well done all season long Ash. Keep it up.
PloKoon13
Gave it to Malouda, because I'm not sure how many times I'll be able to do it in the future.

ethicalstrategy
Interesting to read the comments. I will see what I think after watching the match back. I was surprised when they announced Ashley. For me, Mikel and Lampard were excellent but Malouda was definitely the best.
Virosh
I voted for Ballack. His presence in the midfield bored every Everton player out of the game. You have just earned Sexelk's respect for life, my friend.
Modueke
He was pretty bad at times today virosh, did you see him run into Anelka where he was so keen to get chance at goal, comedy football but you can't fault his hunger I guess!
Gem
Ashley, what a performance, kept on going at both ends. Maybe the pathetics on here will now stop calling him Cashley... or maybe not, it amuses their wee little minds too much.
