Is it over?

Given the quotes from Ferguson and tonight Wegner it seems that they have thrown in the towel and raised the white flag.....so is the title ours to throw away or is this mind games? ::clap2::

Nowhere near over. If Utd beat City on Saturday and we lose to Spurs or even draw then it is wide open again. This season has had too many twists and turns for us to start being cocky.

Too right. Nowhere near. We have two very losable games still to play. Matches we lost last season lets not forget.

If we can get past this weekend with the 4 point gap still in place i might start to let my mind wander, but right now i would advise everyone to get their feet firmly on the ground. Its been a strange season and anything could yet still happen.

There should be a filter to stop threads like this appearing.

I'm not taking the champagne out of the fridge just yet. Agree with Loz and bjd, this season has had some bizarre twists and turns and Spuds at White Heart Lane is no walk-over, just ask le Arse..

I anticipate an anxious tv bound weekend....no ticket for White Hart lane ::clap2::

No ticket for me either... Are sending the missus and my son away the whole Saturday so I can bite my nails in peace ::clap2::

Too True.

On the other hand, if City beat Utd and we avoid defeat at WHL then I think we can start preparing the ice bucket.........

There are too many teams in the premiership that on their day can get a result against anybody..that being the reason the top four have lost 5, 6, 7 games already.

No real easy games anymore and Spuds proved last night they are a dangerous team.

I think as Nibs said if City beat UTD and we get a result at WHL then we can quietly start allowing ourselves a bit of confidence and maybe Michelle Mcmanus can start warming up.

I still won't be celebrating until the mathmatics tell me we've done it though.

We've dropped points against the likes of West Ham and Hull during the season, so we can't afford to take anything for granted at the moment. It's in our own hands, that's for sure, but the margins are so small at the moment, that there's not much room for error.

Quite right Nibs. So far my plan is working perfectly. City to beat Utd, or even draw, and then us to spank Spurs and the sound of the fat lady will be deafening.

Spurs at WHL could very well be tougher than Pool at Anfield. Both are tough games, but it's feasible that we could drop points to a lesser team as well....it's very unpredictable.

Here's to hoping we can just win the rest and be done with it.

Count no chickens before they;re hatched, folks!

or,as they say in France, don't sell the bearskin until you've killed the bear!

We have at the very least to match ManU result on saturday anything less and the nerves will be jangling. If we were to both lose and the Gooners get a result its back they would also be back in the running. There are no easy games at this time in the season everyone has to stay totally focused, get 3 wins and its ours, sounds easy ..it isnt.

Be positive......we will make history....this weekend is not for the faint hearted or the weak minded.....have faith in the players....have faith in the manager....have faith in the ref....most of all have faith in yourselves as true blue fans. Who would have thought that a few weeks ago we would be talking about a double...the Manc's could end up with the egg cup and nothing else while the gooners end up with more dust in the cabinet. ::ChELSeAFaN::::clap2::

100% agree....no way this should ever come up until it's last game of the season and we're mathematicaly ours...only then will I be happy.

Keep the champagne on ice folks.

Pull the wire off and leave the cork in if we beat spurs.

If we win the game after that then pop that stuff
