Piszczek would be one of my top targets for us. He's probably too good to sit the bench though, and I can't see Dortmund wanting to sell one of their better players. If Ivan is our man going forward at RB, then Debuchy at the reported 6-7 million would probably be a bitter bit of business if we are just looking to add squad depth.

As mentioned earlier here, polish and dortmund right winger Blaszczykowski would be exactly the kind of player we need right now. Incredibly fast, quick feet, will widen the pitch. And of course will cost considerably less than hulk, who is only 1 year younger.

    Roman will never countenance selling torres. He is his joy and the way he was jumping up and down the day torres scored his first hatrick for us shows his love for the lad. all his summer acquisitions, hazard, marin, etc are all gearing towards making torres a success. in my on thinking, no man builds an expensive garage for his car and sells the car immediately expect a crazy thing happens. ( Juve offering us 70million for instance.).

    I have to agree here... We are becoming the squad that will make Torres flourish and I think he will. The play he demonstrated in the Spring and now in Spain, plus all his comments about he feels he is rejevenated, it be crazy to sell him.

    I read the Torres offer came as 25M + Giovinco. Since Juventus only own 50% of Giovinco (Parma the other 50%), that would lead me to think that there's no way he would be part of the deal, which then leads me to think that Juventus really haven't offered us anything for Torres yet.

    Yes, Juventus only own 50% of Giovinco, but it will be decided today I think what team will own him completely. If an offer for Torres has been made, then it might have been a preliminary offer. "If we get Giovinco, you can have him and 25m" or something like that.

    Though I think it is all a rumour.

    Juventus want a good scorer and since the van Persie deal has gone very quiet and Cavani would cost too much, the media will throw in any big name.

    Benzama and Higuain has been mentioned as well I think.

    Wigan have just rejected our bid for Moses. Sky Sports.

    Yes Sky Sports say we bid £4m for Moses who only has a year left on his contract. I think that's a very reasonable offer.

    I doubt he would leave this season but if he was to join United I would be devastated.

    First bids are almost never accepted so its OK. I guess if we're really serious about buying him, the price will probably go as high as 6 million....unless a bidding war starts which seems unlikely as QPR are rumored to be the only other team in contention.

    I don't think Wigan will see it like that.

    Of course they won't. Moses could quite easily just see out the remaining year of his contract and then leave on a free. He has already said he won't sign a new contract. I can't blame Dave Whelan in trying to get as much as he can for the player.

    Oh jesus christ :face_palm: This one worries me. Too similar to Ronaldo, and here they're paying double Ronaldo's initial fee for him. If the kid really has bags of talent I dont want him going there. Then again, maybe a Porto fan like Arruda could give us the real scoop on him.

    On another note, if we buy Hulk and the Mancs buy him, Porto could make over 70m on two players they bought for about 11m euros. Their finances are amazing.

    They would be within touching distance of 1billion, just from selling players since 2001 (I think). Amazing dealing done there. But then again, Dortmund are just better, bought Kagawa for 350,000 from a Jap side 2 years ago.

    And our offer for Moses was 'well below 4million'
