I really don't rate Schurrle and I don't see what he's done to proove he can play up top.

 

He was in good form both for Chelsea and Germany at the start of the season. Rotated in and out of the squad and probably just going through a blip in form. Put in some big performances for us this season, particularly that first half against Bayern. I think there's a lot more to come from him.

Also he is still young and its his first season,think hes done well.I always knew he was inconsistent,Mourinho the right man to help him develop.

P.S hearing we have put a £25m price tag on De Bruyne but Wolfsburg are willing to pay £17m.

Surely we should take the £17m as it more than doubles our outlay, personally would sell at £10m + a buy back clause.

We could not argue if we managed to get a 25mill fee for KdB, but I somehow think we will end up with around 10mill. Clubs are rarely willing to pay us a fair price and we usually are not mean enough to force the issue by threatening to keep the player.

With Germany he does well. It may take a season for Schürrle to get settled with us. He's still young and I bet after he plays at the World Cup he will come back even better.

£10M is absolute bargain for KDB, be completely pointless selling him for that.

I think FFP is a bit of a joke to be honest. Real Madrid and Barca are massively in debt but can you see UEFA kicking them out of the Champions League? Of course they wont!
