Express:

Premier League heavyweights Chelsea and Liverpool are ready to fight for Atalanta youngster Christian Capone, reports claim.

The pair are already involved in a battle for Roma’s Alisson, but there could be a second fight unfolding.

Corriere dello Sport via Sport Witness claim Chelsea and Liverpool are monitoring Capone, who scored for Italy’s Under-21 side against France Under-21s on Tuesday.

The report suggests that Jurgen Klopp’s side have been tracking the 19-year-old since he was 16.

Capone, who enjoyed a profitable season-long loan with Pescara, only came to Chelsea’s attention during Tuesdays fixture as the club orginally came to scout Gianluca Mancini, Vittorio Parigini and Gianluca Scamacca.

Very much doubt it, i would expect he will have a break from football for a bit before he comes back.

Good. At least it lessens the chance of Hazard leaving us.

I like Zidane but Real's league form is poor when they could literally buy any player on the planet and has a squad filled with WC players.

Realistic transfer window:
IN:
Icardi (98m)
Fekir (55m)
Koulibaliy (70m)
Bailey (35m) 60m+
Total: 258m

OUT:
Bats (45m)
Pedro (20m) 5-10m
Drinkwater (25m)
Willian (50m) 35m
Van Ginkel (25m) 15-20m
Luiz (25m) 10m
Total: 190m

I'm sure we can make the difference up with previous sales such as Costa or Television Revenue

Think you're being very generous with these figures.

Apparently fulham have a £10m transfer option for kalas, hopefully they take it as it's a better option for both Kalas and Chelsea than having to find another suitor or another loan.

They also have a substantial loan fee to pay if they don't sign Kalas so here's hoping

Heard Kalas is leaving potentially, lets hope it happens along with about 20 other loanees that'll never play for us..

Linked with Malcolm for €50m wouldn't mind him coming especially if we are sellin Willian by fleecing a Chinese club.

Bailey, Zaha and Martial are better alternatives for me but Malcolm would be a good option.

No idea who is even looking at players at the moment

I'm sure the scouts are doing their jobs but I doubt any of the upper management even looks at them before settling our manager conundrum

Phillips tweeting again that reports out of France are that we’re in negotiations for Lemar and Malcom.  Think they both have been mentioned on this thread previously but he just tweeted this again not long ago.

Hopefully not Lemar, I think he's a bit overrated - would prefer Depay.

I’ve been secretly hoping for Depay, as well.  Watch Lemar have a nice WC though and his price would skyrocket.

Here’s the latest from Phillips:

“It’s been confirmed tonight from @F8Piraux’s local sources that Chelsea’s interest in Thomas Lemar and Malcom is legit.

Chelsea in discussions and want both! They will both leave this summer and Chelsea been tracking them for several months.

The f**ked up thing is we'll probably pay an inflated fee for Lemar when we could have paid the same for Depay. Malcom seems genuinely talented, Lemar to me is another Bakayoko waiting for happen imho.

I’m with you there.  Not sure anyone could be another Baka though, my goodness that would be bad.

Depay has PL experience too, which can’t hurt.  Didn’t do great at Man U, but honestly, he went there at a time when young promising players were going there to die (Martial, Shaw, Darmian, Depay, etc).

Lemar and Malcolm are players with excellent dribbling, distribution, and creativity. But they lack what Chelsea need the most...putting the damn ball into the back of the net. I would really like to see us going in for offensive players with more of a goal threat and leaving the creativity to Hazard. IMO Martial and Bailey would be ideal...but its not really something that we can expect from a club who isn't willing to spend 6-7M for a manager during the most important summer of this decade.

BTW Lemar has a defensive work rate better than most offensive players in Europe (think Sarri Pressing Style) and his strength is quite surprising given his short stature. Depay does have the better stats...but Lemar has special qualities other than his Distribution and Creativity that may be attracting Chelsea.

I can see why we're looking at Malcom and Lemar, both left footed attackers who are technically good for that RW side. We have been looking at those type of players for a while. We lack a left footed player.
