May 19, 20188 yr Why are there rumors about Lewandowski? He's 29 already and would want a huge wage...Doesn't really make much sense.

May 22, 20188 yr MORATA--> Juventus I know its unlikely but you guys think Morata (65M) +50M-60M cash for Dybala would be a wild fantasy? I mean of course the no CL next year is a bit of a set back...but I just hope if there is any talk btw our board and Juventus regarding the Morata situation, somebody at least inquires about that possibility. According to Marotta, everyone in Juventus is a huge fan but the biggest obstacle in signing Morata is his transfer fee. And they will obviously sell Dybala (either now or in the next two years)...so why not to Chelsea? I know it sounds ridiculous especially with other clubs offering much more talent, wages, and CL...but just a thought for these anxious times.

If Juventus was Morata back and we get Dybala in return, that would be one hell of a deal. Unfortunately, I really dont see that happening. No way to Juventus sell their star player
May 22, 20188 yr If we legit sign any of Lewy, Alex Sandro, Isco, Mahrez, Jorginho I will buy a Bakayoko shirt I'm that confident it won't happen.
May 23, 20188 yr Napoli prepared to allow Maurizio Sarri to join Chelsea for nothing – if the they agree to send David Luiz the other way for a cut-price fee acc to Matt Law IT'S HAPPENING..

May 23, 20188 yr Interesting that Carlo has gone to Napoli. I hope he makes it easier for us to sign of their players that we're trying to get like Koulibaly
May 23, 20188 yr Chelsea to open talks with Nice for midfielder Jean-Michael Seri (Le10Sport) We've been getting linked with guy quite a lot over the last few months

May 27, 20188 yr We must complete at least one signing before the world cup starts. Last year, City made 2 signings in the first week of the transfer window. They showed that they're going to change the team. We have to wake up, I don't even find serious rumours about us looking for someone.

I agree, but I think we should already decide who is going to coach the team. A lot of quality players are going to be available and teams already targeting. Let's hope we won't be late.
May 27, 20188 yr We really only need about 3-4 signings. A WC striker if Morata/Bats wants to move on, a WC winger regardless of Willian's situation, a WC/top class CM that is a playmaker and an experienced CB. I'd be ok with at least 2 of 4 because Callum can fill the RW role if need be, RLC can fill the CM role and we still do have Barkley on the books and a focused Luiz is as good as any CB and Bats just came off a good loan with Morata possibly thriving in a new system. That said, we still need at least 2 of the 4 to get back to challenging things (priority on RW and CM ofc)

For me RLC in the squad yet not obvious starter unless we drop either Hazard or Willian.
May 30, 20188 yr Realistic transfer window: IN: Icardi (98m) Fekir (55m) Koulibaliy (70m) Bailey (35m) Total: 258m OUT: Bats (45m) Pedro (20m) Drinkwater (25m) Willian (50m) Van Ginkel (25m) Luiz (25m) Total: 190m I'm sure we can make the difference up with previous sales such as Costa or Television Revenue

Would be happy with this as our window but I think it’s unlikely we will get Koulibaly.

Can't see us getting £20m for Pedro, I think he's in the last year of his contract too. Willian would probably sell for £40m, similar to what we got for Matic. Van Ginkel would probably sell for about £15m I reckon and Luiz would be a bit lower too. I reckon you're looking closer to £140m if that lot were sold. Rumours today that we might be open to offers for Fabregas this summer, Valencia and AC Milan are apparently interested.

I can't see us getting anywhere near the money for those outgoing players though, so I'm not sure how realistic it would be in one window. I would be happy with a quality playmaker and an exciting attacker. Give sarri a year to work with the centre backs and centre forwards, and review it next summer.

May 30, 20188 yr Why would you sell Ross Barkley for £20m and then drop £34m on Jack Cork? And in what universe would Real Madrid go anywhere near Willian?
