CFC have spoken with Jesus and his agent, he had all but agreed terms with Arsenal but this was before they failed to secure UCL. Now he wants higher wages from them and prioritises a team in the UCL. He wants to stay in the prem as previously reported, CFC could be in pole position if they prioritise him over Raheem since spurs want Sterling but he also prefers us.

Important to note nothing has changed, reports of Barcelona interested in Kounde are nothing new they have been interested for the past year maybe even longer. It is not true that he prefers Barcelona that was just one source Moundo which is highly unreliable and it's Barcelona based they link every player under the sun to them.

This sort of sh*te happens to us every window. We target a player and 9 times out of 10, he ends up elsewhere.

Even if the Barca move falls through, I hope we tell him to f**k off if he decides he wants to come here after all. 

 

I can't just happen to us though can it. At some point peope have to recognise that we are sh*t at doing this, or we are nowhere as big as people like to think we are.

The ambitious team are already trading and not some dopey rumour conjured up on twitter and pedalled out by those clown on Sky that seem to think they ahve their ears to the ground.

There doesn’t need to be, this kind of thinking is how we ended up with Lukaku, why force the market to work for us when we can just wait. Plus we have Broja who in all honestly is a better prospect than Jesus.

Hmmm, don't rate Broja myself, not for a club with title-winning aspirations anyway, but I hope he proves me wrong.

I like Broja but lets be real he'll be another inconsistent attacker joining an inconsistent attack. 

Not to mention he'll likely be the first to be loaned out.

Well, every football analysis or pundit with any credibility will tell you Jesus is certainly not the talisman for a title chasing side, it’s an Arsenal level signing if there ever was one.

Dembele has as many faults as Pulisic. Same injury problems, similar dribbling style, lightweight, both sh*t finishers. The only thing Dembele has on Pulisic is creativity, and even then, he will find it much much harder to create the types of chances here that he created at Barcelona.

People get frustrated with our attack as it is, just wait until they see Dembele smashing shots wide game after game.

i like Strakosha as a backup

I will be happy if we sign Dembele but I'd prefer Gnarby for sure. Super player. His speed of thought is off the charts.

Who else is there recruitment has to stop. Squad signings for squad level fees and wages with squad level expectation of minutes, ok, but no more big money transfers for who else is there players.

I think Mando is a couple of seasons away from being ready to maximise his potential but I can see that we might not be targeting him if he wasn't already our player. The point is however that the 'who else is there' type transfer has to stop. It has cost us a fortune and has not benefitted our squad. Mando over who else is there all day, every day.

I watched Jesus when he was being touted as a City signing to replace Aguero and said that I really hope City made that change because I felt Jesus was nowhere hear Kun's class. I think Jesus's time in Manchester has proved that assessment to have been correct. Yes, he has put up big per minute numbers for the best team in the country but even so City are happy to move on from him. Not the answer for us.
