Although Frankie had a great game for his 350th appearance, I think Sturridge should take the MOTM ... he showed great aspects of his game from the first minute, aswell as scoring a double and 1 assist. Very happy to see Frankie playing better than he has in the last couple of games ... way to shut up the stupid tabloids.

The old boy by a mile, never doubted him and hes got another couple of good seasons in him yet.

Clearly Lamps today - reminded everyone what he is still capable of.

everyone? bit of a stretch dont you think?. strange game in ways,but that seems to be the nature now under avb.i thought defensively we could have been better,but then so could they,we took our chances well (in the first half)and lampard was motm for me.

going back to the lampard situation,there are, were (myself included)plenty who thought that he wasnt showing his best form for us,that doesnt mean

A: they thought,or told him he was sh*t or

B: that he was,is finished,although there has been rumblings of discontentment i agree,from quite a few

avb imo has done the right thing in resting him,he obviously cant play every game at maximum capability anymore,and furthermore the coach was right to take him off against man utd,where he was visibly off the pace.sometimes you have to do whats best for the team,and franks man enough to deal with that,as he`s shown since.

Frank for me, and nice to see Danny back defending one time! All round good team performance

Danny probably would have won this on most other days, but as with everyone else, Super Frank was the only option for me. Hat trick with no penalties, what a game!

Sturridge for me, Meireles was also an unsung hero.

Lampard. Great to see, I have been critical of late but he played extremely.
