It says he is close to signing so maybe the club is waiting until all the i's have been dotted etc...Hope they tie him up quickly..

Excellent news, he has adapted to the premier league really well, and I for one love watching him play. He is one of the few that I feel are comitted to the club at the moment.

Good player - excellent pace and never stops running, but could be such a better player if he improved his passing and shooting.

Seems like he suffered from the new contract curse last night, I love the guy, but damn he was shocking. How many times did he just run straight into traffic and quickly lose the ball?

Great news for the club! Ramires has been a workhorse for us and deserved the new contract. Plus, we were smart to keep him wrapped up for years to come.

Let's hope for more good news in the near future.

Great news, but once again who is offering these extensions when we currently have a caretaker manager?

What if the next boss doesn't want him?

Who is actually doing the wheeling and dealing at the bridge because is certainly isn't the manager - we haven't got one!?!
