We have hotel sorted 1.2km from Killians on the Friday and 15kms outside of Munich on the Saturday. We was just going to get our heads down in the car on the Saturday night if we couldn't get a hotel, but would have parked it on a campsite, so i have some details. I will pm you with them.

Personally it doesn't really start to get to me until about a day before. Two years ago I was cool as a cucumber all week before we played Inter, by the Friday I was nervous and the Saturday even more so.

I needed several beers and a smoke of something herbal before I could calm myself down enough to watch it. To make it worse we bloody lost which of course makes you even more nervous the next time.

I am terrified about this game...and excited..........and terrified...

Can be the difference between it being our best season ever, and the worst in recent times.

Just the thought of winning the CL for the first time, and watching Spuds bundled back the Europa gives me happy chills....on the other hand...falling at the final hurdle again, and being consigned to the Europa league, would make the FA Cup seem kind of hollow.

But a win...oh my....I can't even imagine how I'll feel yet. It's just something I need to happen before I can put into words just how incredible it will be.

Come on you Blues.

Naw, we won the FA Cup, and we defeated Barca and Napoli in memorable games, so it would not be the worst season in recent times by any measure if we lose on Saturday. I would take it as a good season even if we don't pull it out on Saturday, though I expect us to win it.

Zippy how did you feel about the ending of the Premier League? Looked very similar to what happened to you in '99 if you ask me. I'm sure Bayern fans everywhere were sharing a smile.

Luckily,I got an invite to do the Wembly stadium tour late on in January this year & had a picture taken with the F.A cup, (magic that was),we went on to win the competition.

When picking up the framed picture from the kiosk later on, opposite it on display, in small glass cabinets,was memorabillia from every European Cup/Champions League final,(fantastic stuff),we are now in the final.

We were the only English lads on the tour but there was also a father & son from Germany & they were fanatical Bayern Munich fans,who,as it happens,are our opponents in the final.

I had another picture taken sitting in Fabio Capello's chair in the vast press room,he left the job just a week later,(guess I'd better go back & re-tighten the screws I loosend on his chair).

Are these signs that fate is on our side?............ or just a complete load of cobblers?.

If we do manage to pull off a remarkable victory on saturday, then not only will I start beliving in karma, but I'll also be inquiring if Camelot run a tour of their National Lottery H.Q. as well.
