When ridiculous lovey dovey comments like above continue to surface, I will continue it. Fondness towards this guy is unacceptable as far as I'm concerned. Fans will turn on many Chelsea players at the first sign, but with this leach patience and support seems relentless from some.

Torres has caused more pain, harm and misery to Chelsea than even opposition teams can ever dream of doing and yet he has people making these affectionate comments.

So no, I won't give it a rest mate.

f**king laughable! You are a complete tool!

A tad dramatic

Blue Bosnian, Hahaha, that's funny mate, it is, but I could say I'm still recovering from the shock of managing those two successes in spite of carrying such a hefty dead weight.

And it is a little dramatic, but this is all speaking relative to football and Chelsea in particular.

His featuring in the team is overwhelmingly to the detriment of the side when you consider what could and should be. So I'd say it's fair comment that he harms the team more than the opposition in that sense.

Ballack and Blue, it's more the Torres Fetishists than Torres himself. I urge him on and hope he has a good performance if he plays. Exasperation of his consistent ineptitude has turned to something resembling hate of him, but only as a Chelsea player. That's not to say I hate the guy personally. If he leaves and does well somewhere else, good for him. He's not been enjoying his football for a while, let him enjoy his football somewhere else. But he continues to hold Chelsea back, so my negative feelings towards him as a player continue likewise.

But as I say, it's the spinning things in favour of Torres which some people still persist with after everything that has been done to accommodate him.

Anyway, I know all this isn't nice and my comments will annoy people even as it annoys me having to write them, but it is infuriating to see comments still hinting that he is somehow any good or has done well.

I'd rather not comment on Torres, but the next time a few more comments lauding Torres in a roundabout way appear, I will probably feel compelled to write something...

Foggy needs laid

I don't think anyone thinks he's done well, I think people on here just naturally are compelled to not be overly nasty about players on our own team, there's plenty of c**ts in the media and who support other teams that do it already.

Pretty much.

We have all said in this thread how dissapointed we are in what he has achieved and become here after the transfer but to abuse him every other week is just pathetic.

I'm glad the fans who actually attend the bridge are not as pathetic as the ones who appear to get thier kicks from slating our own.

I like the irony that Foggy has Hernan Crespo in his profile picture, a player who was a financial dead weight for us when he said he didn't want to play in England anymore and we had to continue to pay his substantial salary whilst he returned to Italy on loan.

I hated Crespo for that.

Torres named in the 18 v Bolvia it excludes Real and Athletico players but he makes it ahead of Negredo and Llorente.

#Spain major boost for Fernando #Torres who makes the squad v Bolivia. #Negredo and #Llorente both absent. But not out of WC says VDB

Torres is gonna win the Golden Boot in the WC

Understandable as he's a good tournament player for them.

I could forgive Crespo for wanting to leave at the time, there were some serious personal problems that plagued him his first year at CFC.

I'm aware of the circumstances but he still was on our books being paid hefty wages but not contributing anything to the club.

Torrea is costing me so many matches on Fifa. He cant finish whatsoever. Can we sell him already...

Use Eto'o. He's scored some screamers for me.

Nando hasn't been in the Spain squad for a year, since the Confederations Cup tournament last season.

Getting in by default as Spain, much like England, are struggling for top class forwards.

Costa is crocked and could miss the whole thing, Villa is well past it. Negredo has disappeared somewhere with Lord Lucan and Shergar. And Soldado? Well let's all laugh at Tottenham.

I hope he has a great World Cup, so that we could finally ship him out.

:face_palm: I'd thought it was " so that we could have a superstar forward back next season" ... but , yes , I agree with your opinion.
