I would like to be the first on the record to blame Torres for Frank leaving, damn you Torres!

I stubbed my toe getting into bed last night, bloody torres's fault.

Getting stupid now isn't it. First it was drogba. Then it was robbie, Then it was cole and now it's super frank! The question is............. Who is next?

I have a sneaky feeling he might outlast Terry.

How??

Roman took ages to appoint Robbie after we'd won the CL, which would indicate he never wanted to give him the job in the first place!

If you want to pin the appointment of the interim on Torres then you go ahead, but I doubt that he has any input to managerial appointments at the club.

Along with Torres the appointment of Benitez was vanity on behalf of our owner, another decision he's got badly wrong!

SP I agree with your view on RDM, Roman never really wanted him. But I would say it's almost niaeve to think that the previously successful Torres / Benitez Liverpool relationship wasn't a major factor in his decision to appoint the FSW.

Of all the things that have afflicted Chelsea in my 40+ years supporting them seeing that fat, gobby waiter represent my club is one of the worst. I couldn't care less that we won the european equivalent of the Capital One Cup, the bloke should never have been our manager, simple as.

Maybe we should stop playing in the league and only play in Europe then. Maybe that way we would look like we werent completely mugged by Liverpool.

Or maybe we could sign a petition to get Genk, Nordsjælland, Steaua, Basle and Rubin Kazan into the premiership. Hed bang them in regularly

And barca, athletico, bayern and benefica  :happy0034:

"It's the same every summer. No-one has ever given me anything on a plate. They made me compete for my place the very moment I got into the first team; that's what they taught me and it'll be that way until I leave.

The higher quality players that come - and Diego Costa is quality - the greater the competition will be and the better it'll be for the team.

I don't have any plans to move away right now. If we listened to all the rumours we'd have 50 players.

Now's not the right time to be thinking about Chelsea. I'm sure the club is working to improve the team, but all that matters right now is the World Cup."

I think I might cry.

Also if in his own mind he has been fighting for his footballing life this entire time I'd hate to see how poorly he performs when he's feeling leisurely...

I too hated having that fraud in charge, but Torres didn't employ him Roman did, if he did that because he thought it would get Torres scoring, then that was misguided by him, but still not Torres fault!

The blame for Benitez lies solely with the board not anyone else.

IMO

It probably was a factor of Benitez's appointment, but that fault lies with Abramovich/the board, not Torres. He can't be blamed for Benitez getting the job, even if he was indirectly a factor.

Torres gets the blame of almost everything that goes wrong at the club.

It's just the way it is these days.

Everything that's happened since he came is the boards fault and buying him also was the boards doing...simple.

We all know Torres wont get paid anywhere near what he does with us playing for another team so he will sit out his contract with us right till the end. Same as Malouda did.

Silly of us to give him a 5 year deal really with the injuries he had in the past.

The only way i can see him playing for someone else next season is if we loan him out and we will have to pick up a massive chunk of his wages still.

Another possibility that Torres might not want to leave is he is still chasing his first EPL title, he has almost everything else on offer like CL, FA cup, Europa, World Cup and European Championship.

He has it good at Chelsea…Big wages, fantastic city to live in and all that comes with those things.

If I were him I’d not exactly be pushing to leave.

He lets me down all season, but he never lets me down in international competitions.

I've gone and done it again and bet on him for the golden boot! I won in the euros and confeds with him, lets complete the hatrick nando!

Has he ever said he want's to leave Chelsea?  No, ..always said he wants to fight for his place unlike some young forwards i.e. Lukaku and Sturridge who prefer to go elsewhere; has he bemoaned being sat on the bench...don't think so, he may not be happy but he doesn't mouth off about it and that is why Jose' likes him, it is obvious that he has lost he pace and has found it difficult here but for the most part he works hard both in training and on the pitch, is generally unselfish and has been somewhat unlucky at times and I think  for the most part he is frustrated with himself.  Will he work it out, who knows but 'Alice' can hang around for another year in my books.

he hasnt done any of that because he has such a cushy job. Why would he?

How do you know "Jose likes him"?.

You're going to be let down again.

Torres for golden boot lol

I am going with Lukaku or Higuain for the golden boot. Lukaku is Belgium's only decent striker and has been on fire recently, and Higuain is on the receiving end of an attack consisting of; Messi, Aguero, Lavezzi and Di Maria.
