Posted October 21, 201212 yr Apparently he's looking to leave Barcelona next summer and we're targeting him for £25 million, that is, according to the Daily Mirror. I'm not going to believe this. Period.
October 21, 201212 yr even though hes a cheating c***, hes still a cracking player. so id rather we go for someone else, but i wouldnt be too disappointed with busquets
October 21, 201212 yr even though hes a cheating c***, hes still a cracking player. so id rather we go for someone else, but i wouldnt be too disappointed with busquets I have the same opinion. I also think with a bit of sensible scouting will could possible find better value.
October 21, 201212 yr No, i have been having a go at him for far to long to just accept him into Chelsea, it's almost like saying i would like Gerrard to play for us. Biscuits can stay where he is thanks.
October 21, 201212 yr Author even though hes a cheating c***, hes still a cracking player. so id rather we go for someone else, but i wouldnt be too disappointed with busquets I wouldn't mind him here, as long as he doesn't take his diving suit with him. (Which I doubt.)
October 21, 201212 yr No, too expensive for a hole that isn't there. Mikel and ramires are doing just fine. Busquets may be better than mikel, but he's a cheating f**k. Drops to the floor playing La Liga, watch him at stoke, he won't get up. Don't believe the story anyways..
October 21, 201212 yr Very rarely do Catalan players leave Barca (Oriel Romeu aside). Can't see it happening. Edited October 21, 201212 yr by Huttsey
October 21, 201212 yr I wouldn't say no, but he's not exactly at the front of my queue of ideal Mikel replacements. In any case, I'd prefer a Mikel supplement to a replacement really, we need the depth. Or Romeu to emerge.
October 22, 201212 yr Excellent. Chelsea being linked with DMs even if it is this guy who I think is a slimy cockroach. Real good player though.
October 22, 201212 yr I'd say no. First of all, I effing hate him. I can take a player falling down a bit too easy sometimes and maybe even a clear dive once or twice (if it's a Chelsea player I shall pretend it never happened), but Busquets is on another level. He can play dirty, he dives, exaggerates and whenever he does his "rolling on the ground for nothing, look up at the ref to see if it works" thing I feel like buying a ticket to Spain, hunt him down and rip his probably miniscule balls off. I'd rather have Hunt, Gerrard, the Ferdinand brothers and Suarez in this team, managed by a Rafa-Wenger-Ferguson mutant than have him here. EDIT: Forgot to write more reasons (can't write "first off" and then stop). My 2nd reason would be that we have good players on the position and even if we want to perhaps bring someone in (either to get more options on midfield or to replace someone) there's other players out there who are just as good (maybe better). October 22, 201212 yr He's a quality player for sure and would be a slight upgrade on Mikel. He's also at just the right age to make a move to England. However, I wouldn't want him because of his disgusting antics nor do I think there's much value in spending upwards of £25 million on a player who doesn't substantially upgrade the team. I'd rather get someone like Tiote for £15 million.
October 22, 201212 yr He (or his agent) is looking for a new contract from Barca. There's nothing more to this story. I wonder when will agents start to use City's name instead of ours in these cases.
October 22, 201212 yr Author He (or his agent) is looking for a new contract from Barca. There's nothing more to this story. I wonder when will agents start to use City's name instead of ours in these cases. Oh, they did. The usual "MANCHESTER CITY IS GOING TO RIVAL CHELSEA TO GET THIS PLAYER BLAHBLAHBLAH". October 22, 201212 yr He's a horrible little c**t but great player and would fit our new playing style.
October 22, 201212 yr 1) I highly doubt he'll leave Barca 2) I hate him as much or more than pretty much every player in the world 3) But he's a great player, and we'd be stupid not to consider him if he became available.
October 22, 201212 yr I am sure Barcelona will keep him, he's probably not happy with his contract. The money and length of the contract is fine but i think what he is really after are a few more of these. Edited October 22, 201212 yr by Scott Harris
October 22, 201212 yr Dont need him as we have Mikel and Ramires Dont want him as he is a diving c*nt Dont think we should spend £25 million for him In summary NO!
