'Arry - Only a real dope can fail at Chelsea

Featured Replies

Well, maybe he can take over once he's done relegating that lot from that Shepherd's Bush rathole and show all our previous managers how it's done..

Actually, scratch that. Don't want that c**t anywhere near our club ta.

Only a real dope has an offshore account in their dogs name...

EDIT: Sorry, not dope, c**t.

Yep i also like Arry....I was hoping hed come here before but alas it wasnt to be..Were doing ok at the mo so thats good...Beware of tonights match..He may decide his team close all back doors with 11 men....Lets face it a point would be like a very big deal to QPR at the mo....I think Harry did well at the sh*thouse, he is a good man manager...Any man manager would do well at chelsea..This is true to say..All the players are here for , at the mo, a top 3 side..It seems that we may have a piece of the jigsaw added later to make us a top 2 side, and you never know, injuries at man utd have to come soon...At this stage 11 points isnt as big a lead as it seems.....Oh yeh this is about Harry........I like him

No feelings either way on arry, those worried about  his dodgy dealings and off shore accounts would likely think our owner got all his money on the straight and narrow, seems a decent enough manager with good players at his disposal and has been pretty good at the bottom end of the table as well.

Hes never slagged us fans or the Club off though and I'd take him over the waiter any day.

Also hes spot on with what he says, with this squad any decent manager given time will get results.

Always liked old melt face. Good manager as well. I said it before, I'l say it again. I would have preferred him to the waiter.

I like him more than the FSW but he isn't exactly great at turning things around when his team is in freefall/crisis, which is what Benitez was brought in to prevent/stop at an early stage.

Just watched this old video on another forum.. some new found respect for 'Arry.. only a little bit though.

Thanks for posting that mate. Hats off to Harry for that. Lampard was best off away from that shower, that's for sure.

Doesn't want to manage in the Championship next year methinks. (He has spot on about Lamps in that video though. Great young player vision.)

He has a few c/l winners at Qpr, Boswinga, Park, Cisse, Cesar

Qpr actually have some decent players Granero and Tarabat are good players but just an imbalanced squad and maybe just a few players who are not as hungry as they should be.

Ferndandes is a tit as much as we moan about Roman never speaking this twat does not shut up, he's like a young Dave Whelan.

Arry certainly outwitted the Interim, as I said before the game, I'd take him over the FSW any day of the week.

From the Mirror:

Maybe Redknapp was right after all. Only a "dope" leaves out half his first team for a local derby.

Nothing hurts as much as the realisation that you have allowed yourself to be misled.

And as Redknapp orchestrated the most unlikely result of the season to date last night, the jeers that echoed round Stamford Bridge were a brutal reality check for Chelsea and Rafa Benitez.

Seven wins out of eight and a return to their trademark resilience and bite suggested Benitez was making Chelsea into unlikely title contenders.

Not any more, not after a night that put all those victories into proper perspective, as Benitez' faith in his rotation policy backfired spectacularly.

Maybe watching the video of Rangers' capitulation to Liverpool fooled Benitez into believing he could leave out Ashley Cole, Juan Mata and Eden Hazard among five changes and still win at a counter.

Maybe he thought the knowledge that Demba Ba is about to put pen to paper would ensure Fernando Torres would send out a statement of his personal intent.

Instead, Chelsea, lucky to not be down to 10 inside four minutes when Marko Marin got away with a cast-iron red card foul on Stephane Mbia, saw fortune run out at the hands of an unlikely assassin.

In three years wearing Chelsea Blue, Shaun Wright-Phillips scored one Premier League goal at The Bridge. Just one.

But 12 minutes from time last night, after Rangers had withstood a second half siege as Chelsea finally turned up, the former England winger scored the most important goal he will ever score in SW6.

Estaban Granero's corner was only cleared as far as Adel Taarabt, who could have gone for goal himself.

The Moroccan instead laid off, inviting Wright-Phillips to unleash the right footer past Ross Turnbull which could have such a significant effect on both these West London rivals.

For Rangers and Redknapp, their first victory at the Bridge since 1983, a first away triumph in 14 months, brought joy and life where there had been despair, only their second win of the season, although still not enough to lift them off the bottom.

But for Chelsea and Benitez, jeered off the park at the final whistle, 14 points off Manchester United's pace, all that is left is the quest for a top four finish. And that, come what may, will never be good enough for Roman Abramovic.

In truth, despite that second half, nor did Chelsea, insipid, slovenly, sloppy and off-colour, deserve anything else.

That first 45 minutes saw them test Julio Cesar just once, Oscar's shot, deflected off Clint Hill, and kicked away by the Brazilian keeper.

They should have been down to 10 as well, with Marin, 240 seconds into his first Premier League start, guilty of an appalling studs-first lunge into Mbia's leg which was, incredibly, deemed only worth a yellow card by Lee Mason.

Rangers, so embarrassing at the weekend, were a very different proposition, determined and organised, stifling Chelsea far too easily in that opening half.

And while the home side were far better after the restart, their moments of pressure were sporadic and they remained worryingly open at the other end.

Victor Moses should have nudged home Marin's cross, Branislav Ivanovic headed over when it seemed easier to score and when David Luiz' shot fell perfectly for Torres, he could not blast past the diving Cesar.

But when Rangers countered, only a terrific tackle by Gary Cahill prevented Jamie Mackie converting Taarabt's subtle pass while Shaun Derry wasted a header from the resulting corner.

Enter the cavalry, Hazard and then Mata on, Chelsea pushing for the one goal they needed to make it a perfect Christmas.

Frank Lampard thought he had levelled Kerry Dixon's 193 goals for the club when he drilled home from Moses, a flag decision that could have gone either way but favoured the visitors.

But Wright-Phillips' moment of composure changed everything, the disbelieving chants of the travelling fans as they began a victory chant none of them had truly envisaged teeing up the chorus of home disapproval.

4 points off top spot when he came in, 14 points off top spot now.

West Ham - Not beaten us in 10 years

QPR - Not won at the Bridge since 1983 (in the league). Not won away since October 2011.

You can bet your bottom dollar that no other team will fail to even score at home to Fulham AND QPR - two of the worst travellers in the country.

Just watched this old video on another forum.. some new found respect for 'Arry.. only a little bit though.

didn't need much reminding that west ham fans are a bunch of muppets, but that clip really exposes them for the fcukwits they are...fancy slagging off one of your youth players while he is sitting there? incredible...I wonder where that main idiot is now and accepts that harry was right when he said frank would be better than matt holland and that other nobody he was moaning about

From Gourlay's program note:

I would also like to take this opportunity to thank Roberto Di Matteo for all he did after taking over last March and we will never forget the huge contribution he made to this club's history. However, the owner and the Board felt that a change was necessary to keep the club moving in the right direction ahead of a vitally important part of the season.

Well my opinion is that Harry's welcome to his opinion and I respect his opinion and he respects my opinion but end of the day my opinion comes before ayone else's opinion but that's my opinion, what's everyone else's opinion?

PS. Gourlay's not welcome to any opinion the repulsive ****!
