Well RB got a lot of stick,some unjustified while JM just sails in and is critique proof.

Jose isn't untouchable and quite frankly I strongly disagree with this decision.

 

We've just loaned out our best striker, again. Why?

Maybe he asked Mourinho for the loan move? Going to Everton means he gets first team football and is under less pressure. The boy is only 20? At first I was a bit sceptical about Lukaku going on loan, but now I think it's the best decision. 

 

I just have a feeling this was Lukaku's decision more than Mourinho's.

Well actually it proves the opposite. If he thought after that penalty he wasn't ready for top european football (He looked very nervous when he was on the pitch) he would most likely be motivated to improve. Lukaku wasn't going to be first choice here, let's be realistic. That boy is Chelsea through and through, and I feel he wants more first team experience before he returns to Chelsea.

Haha yeah. So a striker had to go and it seemed Jose didn't mind if it was either Ba or Lukaku. Massively disappointed would of preferred Ba to go. Now what are the chances Lukaku scores more than any of our strikers in the league again..

Ideally it would have been Ba who went, but as we couldn't move him on and didn't want to just lend him to Arsenal for a year, another striker had to go. Torres is unshiftable, so it had to be Lukaku. That's what happens when you leave everything to the last day, you end up with last ditch desperation deals like this and lending Moses to Liverpool

Why buy him or Moses in the 1st place ?

I hope he ends up first choice for Everton and get hatticks against everyone in the top 6, single handedly carrying them into the top 4.

Agreed. Perhaps that's why Tottenham supposedly came in for Torres with a stupidly low offer. We had to get rid of a striker no matter what, Hilario can't even be registered for this season I believe. BA & £1.5 Million to Arsenal to strengthen them or letting Lukaku go on loan, I can see the dilemma.

Oh please. We have 2 retirees and one donkey to choose from up front. 

Bit sad about this. Still its better for Lukaku to play rather than sit on bench. Jose is going to get results this season but Lukaku didn't even get a go. I hope Eto is up to the job.

Why dont sell just sell him and be done with it.Next year Torres will still be here,we will sign somebody else for loads of wonga so unless he scores 30 goals he will never a look.Pretty shabby way to treat a promising player.

Probably the best option for Romelu, better than sitting on the bench. He has to play too to have equal chances in the NT (next to Benteke). Just sad that we didn't see him playing a single full game for us, would have made it easier (or not) for the fans to let him go on a loan... 

the lad worked his *ss off this summer, no doubt he'll be the Kraken over there (at least he's playing in a blue shirt)

So one on the pitch, one on the bench and one resting. We have loads of midfielders so I guess it's a 4-5-1, 4-3-3, 4-4-1-1, 4-2-3-1 or a 4-1-3-1-1 formation for us.

I agree thats probably the saddest part is that he didn't get a 90 min prem league game to show what he can do and neither did we.Everton a good move for him though play good football and hes better than the donkey jelavic.Still i would of loved to see him tear it up with Anelka at WBA.
