April 13, 20179 yr I take it none of you have watched the last 6-10 games? @dkw @Chelsbear @RMCM I implore you to watch them again. This is not a witch hunt either, for half of the season he was phenomenal, better than he was previously here and could well be in that group of nominees. I think reckless is the perfect word really.

I take it you've been watching them after a few pints of whiskey? Because aside from one or two errors, he's been as good as ever. It is a witch hunt, if it was gary cahill, terry or dave playing like that people would be saying they're having the season of their life, but because of this view people have of Luiz as an error prone defender he rarely gets the praise he deserves for his consistency

You don't know anything about my view of Luiz, so that's just pulling something out of thin air because you've seen other say it. I don't really know what else to say, seems you've already made your judgement. I think you should watch them again.

Would any of you put money on Eden winning it? If we win the title, I really can't see a non-Chelsea player winning. Kante might pip Eden to it.

I'm not really sure what you mean there Aaaaaanyway, back to Hazard, I do think it's between him and Kante, no question, but I'd personally rather Kante got it to be recognised for the stellar job he's done

Kante no where near Hazards level this year.

April 13, 20179 yr Kante nowhere near hazards level is a laughable statement. Consistency wise Kante has been ahead of Hazard. Now Hazards been pretty amazing recently but let's not act like he hasn't had a few dodgy spells this season.

Hazards turned up 75% of the year which is more than fair considering the type of role he is asked to play and the treatment he get's from other teams, so I think this justifies it easily over kante. Opposition teams don't go out to kick Kante off the park.

I'm aware they're different, I've obviously factored that in when I mentioned the role Hazard is asked to play. A lot of people, not you at all, but a lot of people I've sat near and watched with have froffed over Kante making an amazing challenge... which he had to because he lost it not 4 seconds before. Don't get me wrong, fantastic player, but his season has been well below his last one. i think he's been antonymous in some games and poor in some games as well as being fantastic in a lot. I think Kante is equally as worthy of winning it as Hazard. Sanchez shouldn't have been nominated. Sanchez has been the only good thing about Arsenal and the only reason they have a slim chance of reaching Champions League. 18 league goals and 9 assists which altogether he is prob leading charts in stats if you combine the two or very close up there. He is a worthy contention. He has not performed in big games apart from the game where they beat us 3-0 but he has been very good. In reality he has scored and created more than both Costa and Hazard. Not saying he has been better but for people to say he should not be there confuses me.
April 16, 20179 yr Author Thought hazard should've been braver today, he had couple chances early on to run at Herrera which could've lead to a booking and given him a little more room to operare, but he just went for a simple pass. Didn't really attempt to dribble at all today tbh.
April 16, 20179 yr Will allow him an off day like today, has been immense. Cant slaughter him too much
April 18, 20179 yr Reports from a few sources (mostly sh*te sources, but seen one from express) claiming hazard has agreed to join real madrid in summer with morata coming the opposite way. Don balon is the source in spain these rumours are originating from, dunno much about that media source though.
April 18, 20179 yr Eden will get slaughtered if he moves to Real. If he has one game like Sunday their fans will be on his back and he doesn't have the mentality to cope with that.
