Hi All, I am in my final year at Bournemouth University doing my dissertation on sponsorship effectiveness in the Premier League, please could any fans of teams (Chelsea) in the BPL fill it out please! Thanks! - http://t.co/qc1Fmg9049

We've had a few student surveys on here recently and I didn't want to offend the posters but most have been pretty poorly constructed - this one seems pretty well thought out and I think the results will make interesting reading! Good luck

Gotta say my personal results were effected because I actually like Samsung products and own a Galaxy s2 phone and a Samsung tablet.

Back when we were sponsored by Emirates or Autoglass I didn't really give a rats ass.

Yeah Samsung is actually a good sponsor for Chelsea.

You can get a Samsung product literally ANYWHERE in the world.

Every capital city will have a Samsung billboard with Chelsea players on it.

Our African players have certainly helped to promote the Samsung brand in some African countries.

It helps gain us fans and sell them products. Very good sponsor. Not to mention we get a bucket load of money from it.

Done bud.

Must admit really couldn't be fussed who the sponsor is, unlike a few Mancs I know who had tons of sharp electronics when they sponsored them, presume they'll be driving crap yank cars next year...

All done fellah.

Some people doubt the effectiveness of shirt sponsorship however a perfect example of just how powerful it can be is seen in Scotland where Celtic and Rangers share the same sponsor. Companies know that if they only sponsored one of the teams the supporters of the other team would pretty much all turn their backs on the sponsors products. A powerful medium indeed.

Done.

I have a Samsung TV which is very good but Samsung being our main sponsor wont affect the way i buy my tech. Well it affects it a bit I guess but not too much.

As opposed to those fine British vehicles? Remind me again, who owns Land Rover and Jaguar? Oh that's right, Tata Motors! Whom they bought from Ford. And while we are on the subject of Land Rover, they lose the most value than any other car as soon as you drive them off the lot... They're garbage! I will give you Aston Martin and Rolls but I highly doubt you can afford the emblems let alone the car itself.

For the record, I drive Toyota and do think American cars are crap but for a Brit to pass judgement is almost as laughable as a Frenchman and his Peugot!

As a counterpoint, Glaswegians are nuts.

Glaswegians are nuts.

Iv'e had pistachio's and cashew's, but never had a Glaswegian.

You haven't lived till you've tried a Glaswegian's nuts!

Done it - personally I don't think shirt sponsors make that much difference, however I do have a Samsung phone so perhaps it works on me subliminally.

Done mate!

I have a Samsung Phone and also a TV. I had an option to get an LG tv when I was making my shortlist, pretty much the same spec and £10 cheaper.. but I opted for Samsung because of the Chelsea connection.

3 Samsung TVs, a Galaxy S3 (the blue 'Chelsea phone') and an Audi TT - oh, and I use Thomas Cook where possible

/clearly a sucker for it (though none of it was a concious 'I must buy Chelsea products' decision)

I have a Samsung phone but that's only because they make the best phones for the money right now, I couldn't care less if they sponsored Chelsea or whoever. I would never drink Singha beer apart from at matches because it's bloody horrible.

To be honest, sponsorship is so prevalent in sports I hardly notice it anymore.

It seams to me shirt sponsorship is a powerfull tool for companies to promote their products.

Just hope to God Chels don't get a suppository manufacturer on our shirts!.

I for one won't stand for it.

That's true that beer is disgusting!

I miss the Heineken girls at the Bridge with their wee back packs serving pints from them. :(
