Oscar, never looked out of place, very composed throughout, should have completed the game at least. He's maturing all the time, great to see him developing.

There were a few good performances TBH but during that second half, my stomach was churning so much I couldn't concentrate. The subs were again poor. If I was going to make a change it would have been Lamps for Mata. Might have even taken my man Luiz off as he looked far from 100% tonight and struggled throughout.

Can I vote for adabayore...He really isn't that great but if we had him up top instead of Torres today would not have been close.

Benitez is a joke, and the biggest conman in football. How he left rami and torres on all game (well how he started torres) I'm not even sure his wife knows how he ended up as a "top" football manager"

Any way my vote goes to Dave with Luiz a close second

Azpi yet again, top class performance. Barely put a foot wrong and had Bale in his pocket the whole game.

Azpilicueta looked solid throughout the whole game. Would have given it to Hazard but Benitez took him off.

This is a tough one, no one really shone for long and every player's performance had some fault.

 

Cahill essentially scored the opener but was left flat-footed for the equaliser. Ramires had a lot of heart (and scored) but gave the ball away horrendously; he could also have had a second if he hadn't fallen over. Hazard created a few chances but spent most of the game running down blind alleys, Mata was good in parts but quiet in others, Torres got an assist but was useless in the second half, etc...

 

I will probably have to go for Azpilicueta again - Bale was very quiet today and Cesar is a big part of the reason for that.

Oscar a threat going forward and tracked back throughout covering well. Hard to believe he has played so many games in the last 12 mths  his fitness levels are exceptional for a first season in a new league.

Right result in the end, we didn't react to their changes at all and were panicking a bit towards the end. A shame because we were crucifying them at the start of the second half.

Yeah maybe. He shouldn't have started if he wasn't fit. Wasn't the biggest crime tonight though, that was bringing on Yossi over Lampard or. Or not bringing on Ba.

Oscar was excellent, Azpi was also good, with flashes of sheer pornography from Hazard at times.

 

Luiz had his worst game for a while (looked exhausted to be fair)  and Rami seemed to struggle in the second half as well.

 

Both subs, Moses and Benayoun were absolutely dreadful when they came on. A shattered Oscar is twice the player of a fresh Benayoun, but Oscar didn't even look particularly tired, which makes that sub laughable. Moses looked like he was deliberately trying to stop our counter attacks and offered us nothing.

 

Mata, Hazard and Oscar deserve to play behind a world class striker. Torres did a couple of nice things, but didn't look like threatening to score once. No premier league goal in 9 months isn't it? 1000mins? So why no Ba?

Luiz was injured in the pre-match warm up and it showed. I have no idea how he was left on for the 90 as he was well off the pace and afraid to make a challenge.

Close one. I think I'd edge to either Azpi or Cole. Both were quality tonight. Azpi had more to do but Cole did more last ditch sort of stuff.

Hazard, also thought Cole had a good game.

Hazard was using walker out there like a tool. walker was trying everything in the book to stop Hazard. Hazard showed spudz why he is the better player than bale. That touch in the middle of the pitch to setup that counter-attack where Mata was set free was freakin' ridiculous. Shame that we lost two points in the match
