In the papers today Napoli have recruited Benite and want to take Torres off our hands in a swap deal for Cavani. Papers say that we are reluctant to sell though.

Makes sense. Who in their right mind would have Cavani over Torres?

Well Cavani seems likely to go,they would still want a high fee, don't see Torres wanting to go there anyway regardless of Rafa being there.Wont happen in my opinion.

I don't see it happening, Torres is still as ambitious as he ever was, and he wants to play at the top club and win trophies.

I think it would be a very good deal, if Torres wants to go to Napoli if he does I would be all for it if Lewandowski is off else where

I don't believe in these swap deals. Cole-Gallas was a swap deal and that woked out fine but...

If the FSW orchestrates this deal, all will be forgiven as far as i'm concerned.

If Torres disagrees I hope they just chloroform him and transport him to Italy.

Absolute disaster if we miss out on this guy, there is no way we can only rely on Lukaku.

So it's between us and City then. If I were Napoli I'd take Dzeko over Torres in any proposed swap. Even if Benitez is manager of Napoli, he'd have seen Torres close-up the last few months and won't be fooled. Unless Cavani really really wants to play under Jose I think it's going to be tough to get him.

What about Dzeko then? Is he good enough. His goals against us were top class to be honest.

I always thought dzeko would be great for us. They wouldn't give us any help though

Chelsea yesterday contacted Napoli asking to stand-by with any decision about Cavani (and Napoli is pretty happy to do so...)

 

This guy has been pretty reliable recently especially with Napoli.

If Benitez can pull this off all will be forgotten and we are good in my book. Pretty please

Don't act like a 5 year old, Liverpool was a powerhouse back then, not stronger than Chelsea but they did win Champions League in 2005 and also were PL contenders.

And then six months into his stay, we can't wait to get half the money we spent for him just to get rid of him...

hes just a torres nuthugger. he only has a problem with expensive, foreign signings if theyre coming to replace poor torres

Sheva is the prime example to my point. I am not saying Cavani won't work. I hope with all my heart he does, if he comes. All I'm saying is, it's annoying how it will be the same people that are excited, that will hang him if he doesn't work because of their expectations.
