Farewell Ross Turnbull

Apparently he's been released by the club.

No love lost here..thought he was sh*t...never understood why we signed him barring his nationality cos clearly not good enough...had free ride as club won trophies and did little to deserve being part of it...luckily cech is rarely injured so not had to use bullsh*t that much

Dont have much good memory of him, can't remember the last time he kept a clean sheet for us in a real match. Anyway, good luck to him in future, whatever happens no one will be able to take away the Europa Medal he won this year ( that's 1 more than what Bale has)

Ouch....

Departing footballers are like recently dead politicians, regardless of how much you hated them, it's socially accepted even expected to throw them a bone with a few kind words lol.

Why?Its sounds like hypocrasy.I am relived that he doest sits on our bench waiting to cock up any game.

Poor bloke. Being third choice goalkeeper is probably the worst job in football. Still, glad to be shot of him. He didn't exactly cover himself in glory when Cech was injured.

he wasnt that great, we all know that, but he kept his head down and worked hard. players seemed to like him and he never complained. no bad words to say about him in that sense. good luck ross, hope you get number 1 spot at a decent championship side

You mean it's true...

Kept a clean sheet away to Everton when Cech went off injured at half time and actually made 1 very good save. Still, sad to see him go as he seems like a very nice guy and best of luck to him in the future.

Best of luck Ross, never moaned or bitched, probably set him & his family up for life. He can now go get regular first team football having (hopefully) learnt a lot from Pete.

Ross...........Has a Prem lge, Champ lge, Europa lge, & 2 FA cup medals...................prob played about 7 times in total...............................nice

Some players lack of ambition. Ross is one of them. Got a great gig at Chelsea, got content and here he is. At least he reached his goal. I don't expect everyone in the business being as ambitious and at the end of the day it is a job. Paulo pretty much the same. I'm not blaming them at all it is just how it is IMO.

Good luck to Ross. Hope we hear from his boy in the future.
