Cesc Fabregas

Because hes not creative at all

Well that is another argument all together but if he is deemed creative enough to play as our number 10 then he should certainly be capable of playing the more creative role in the pivot.

I would also argue his passing range beats the living piss out of Mikel & Ramires combined so would surely have been an upgrade in games where we were really struggling.

well mourinho considers torres to be good enough to play for chelsea so theres that . . .

i actually think oscar as our main nr 10 was one of mourinhos biggest mistakes last season

and oscar is one of the worst passers in the team

Torres was generally picked  behind a 32 year old Eto'o and Demba Ba last season , not to mention Jose seeking alternatives such as Shurrle up top rather than going with Torres.

Oscar on the other hand was chosen to be the number 10 when players like Mata were the alternative.

Not really very similar scenarios there...

Do you think Ramires and Mikel are better passers than Oscar?

Are you implying that against teams that play more attacking, our midfielders are splitting defences left and right? Our midfielders more often than not fail miserably even in 4v4, 3v3 situations

At no point am I saying this season has been great from an attacking point of view but for a team that are so attackingly inept we had the 3rd highest goals scored in the league behind Liverpool and city who have quite a bit more in the striking department.. It's not all doom and gloom

This tweet is from the Portgueese Balague so might be full of sh*t maybe the board are trying to force some creativity on Jose.

Once again. Cesc Fabregas is not a first choice for Mourinho. If CFC buys him is more a Club choice. Mou likes him but prefers others.

Further more.... actually, your quite wrong in your sarcastic intent.

Spurs at home, showed attacking intent, 4-0

Arsenal at home showed attacking intent 6-0

City away showed attacking intent - 1-0 but it's the biggest 1-0 Iv'e seen in a long while, we ripped them apart and should have been 4-0 up at half time and with a proper striker may well have been.

United at home 3-1...

So in answer to your question, when teams have showed attacking intent we seem to score more goals, yet you think we are sh*t in attacking mid?

Funny that because in another report I read it's Jose's personal interest in Cesc that has convinced him to Join us ahead of city, both are probably equal in bullsh*t

The rumours of players disliking another player or manager are laregely media driven in their quest for a story.  I pay them little regard. of course it happens most in football due to the sheer popularity of the sport but it also happens in other sports.  Fabregas would come to Chelsea if the money was right and he felt it was a good career move for him, both in terms of potential success and also how he would be played etc etc.  I find it hugely unlikely that a personal relationship issue exists between him and Jose to the extent it would stop himm cmoing to Chelsea if he felt all the other factors were in his favour.

For what it is worth he would undobtedly improve us.

I agree it sounds like all bullsh*t for me I can only see him at United or Arsenal this is proably about making sure teams matches his wages. Wenger himself has stated they have a buyback clause and Wenger never never refuses an option to buy another attacking player when he needs to buy a striker. Fabregas is the prtotypical Wenger player that he could clone if he had the chance. Willian and matic are the players Jose would clone. I just cant see it happening but hope I am wrong.

Professional footballers and sports figures as a whole rarely hold onto grudges in the same way that fans do. How many times have we seen players shaking hands and smiling/laughing with those that were just at their throats before the final whistle? Most players understand that in the moment of the game you sometimes do what you have to to gain an advantage. Short of truly heinous acts I think most players are quick to forget ticky tacky things that happened in the heat of the moment. Hell, the Costa vs. Real Madrid video is a perfect example of players seemingly at each others throats getting on together fine once the game was over.

Not for me, bottles it. Lampard leaving and being replaced by Fabregas - Yuch!

He is a class player who would improve us a lot. He is also probably by far the cheapest option out of Pogba, Koke, Vidal and him.

Odds on Skybet put us at 1/3 to sign him ahead of everyone else, considering Lampards odds of going to New York were 1/5 just last night, Fabregas at Chelsea is looking quite realistic
