Spanish Mundo Deportivo reporting about Mourinho being interested in Etoo. Not so reliable, I would say. BUT it's a very interesting transfer move. Etoo's still a quality striker. And if Chelsea don't get Rooney...why not?

 

I know, I'm just dreaming at the moment, but imagine if we had Etoo, Lukaku and Rooney in our squad? Would be amazing. Rooney who also can play as a #10, or even at the wing. Unstoppable Chelsea.).

Why is everyone assuming that Eto'o won't lower his wages? And what's wrong with him being 32? Drogba is 35 and can still come back to Chelsea and do better than what we already have. If Rooney doesn't come then Eto'o could be a good 2 year stop gap while Lukaku gains valuable experience.

Willian is pretty damn good, not sure about Eto'o though.

 

Willian is a number 10...so I just don't see that he has a spot in the squad. Mata/Oscar/even Schurrle, have that spot locked down.

Willian is a great player at his peak but he is not better than Mata or Hazard and neither will he be better than Oscar or De Bruyne.

Eto'o is a no.

Eto'o is a quality finisher but I don't see the club going in for a 32 year old in truth, most likely he'll end up back in Italy. 

We could also be after Lassana Diarra, he played for Mourinho in Madrid, and we are lacking quality DM.

I think if Eto'o was willing to take a massive drop in wages then i'd take him for a year. He worked very well under Jose at Inter.
