Dave got mine, very consistant and probably could have got a couple more of my votes had it not been for some outstanding performances by Eden and Oscar.

 

BTW, he scores when he waaaants, Jon Obi Mikel, he scores when he wants.

TBH, Oscar could be the MOTM every match. You can't really see his engine on TV. Watch him live, you can see how much ground he covers. I have to give props to Mr. Emanelo for signing this guy. At the time of the signing I was saying why, but Oscar has come w/ the answer of Because I am Great, bitch!!! Ok, I don't think Oscar would say that but I would imagine if I questioned his game that is how he would answer me. Yes I have a great imagination

Oscar for me but i also thought Cahill and Mikel played really well.Azpi as usual was solid.

Willian for me,the first goal which was very important was down to his inch perfect cross.Lots of hard graft too.On the negative side,beside Essien's performance,is just me or Luiz looked really  hesitant and poor.

Luiz just had all the time in the world when he was on the ball because Derby didn't press our CBs whatsoever.

Mikel.  I agree with all the Oscar comments. Looks like 5 stone wet through, tough as nails and skill to burn. Mikel I think has so much more to give. When he steps up and pushes the ball in front of him running at defences or when he looks up and passes 40 yards - he just doesn't do it enough. I have a feeling he's being designed as a Makalele and told to keep it simple with short easy balls and when there isn't one immediately available sometimes he gets tied up. But he's got good ball control too. I mean his ball control & passing are much much better than Ramires and yet Mikel gets stick whild Rambo is eulogised. Let him loose Jose.

I went for Willian. Played with a lot of spark and looked very keen to get the ball.

Obvious HM to Oscar and I'll chuck one in for Mikel and Rambo (apart from the dive) too

His work rate was phenomenal, non stop and delivered some fantastic crosses (from which we scored our first!). Liking him more and more...

I'm giving it to captain marvel John Obi Mikel.

 

I thought he had a good game in the middle, was confident in possession, distributed the ball quite well. Should have had an assist but Eto'o is rubbish and obviously scored the opener.

 

Oscar was as ever sublime but I'm giving it to Mikel but he stepped his game up today after some very disappointing recent performances.
