I don't buy that. ALL top players play a lot of football. It's what they do for a living and are paid a kings ransom to do so and what they enjoy. Ask most pro's and they would always prefer to be playing a lot of games rather than training. So if you are playing a lot of games without many breaks, you won't train as intensively as others. I think Oscar could have three months off and it wouldn't make the slightest difference - he is just one of those players whose form goes in peaks & troughs.

Not consistent at all from what I've seen.

I think he is clearly injured. He has hardly played a full game since the end of January. No one needs five months rest.

Oscar was rested plenty last season and was still poor when he came back in.

I don't think he is worth the money but I really think he'd fit Chelsea. I don't think we need to get rid of Oscar if Pogba comes. Jose would have Cesc/Oscar for no. 10 and Matic/Pogba/Ramires/Cesc for those two anchor positions.

Yeah ok and before World Cup he was rubbish because he was taking it easy in the 2nd half of the season so he wouldnt get injured. I'm wondering what other excuses people will come up.

That's where the gap widens between us and teams like Bayern-/Barca/-Real. If we are to win Champions league we need to compete with these clubs in signing Europes hottest prospects.

Is a fair point in terms of Europe. What we have may be enough in England, but as the likes of Barca strengthen we start looking weaker compared to them.

Yup but I'm not sure if we are able to spend ridiculous amount of money on players like Progba without sacrificing one of our key midfielders and I'm not talking about Oscar here ;)

We lost 0 games and almost went into last 8 if it wasn't the worst patch of our season and we faced the wrong opponent at the wrong time. Small details. But on the whole I really agree on spendin money on some real quality. We need to target the same calibre players as Real/Barca/Bayern.

I've read somewhere that Jose's #1 goal will be UCL, we already missed on a couple of good players including Pogba.

We need to buy some quality defender, winger and someone who will play right next to Matic so Fabregas could play forward position.

If we sell Oscar I would sign Koke (he can also play next to Matic if needed)

I like Turan in the midfield. Jose would only improve him so it would be Turan 2.1

Filipe Luis will go back to Atletico so we need to replace him with some quality defender. I'm not sure who would be good replacement.

I'm not worrying about them having drama queen Sterling on the team. I think he's overrated.

I think De Bruyne will stay at Wolfsburg. He's got European football next season and I see him as a player that would rather be a big fish in a small pond. Like Stevie G at Loserpool
