Cuadrado, Oscar and cash to the tune of 80 million makes sense for Juve but i don't think we would do it and to be honest I think he will go to Barca, PSG will probably also offer him a small countries gdp to sign next year, to think Man U gave him away on a free transfer....And tbh I would be almost as happy with someone like Witsle or better yet Koke

Juve sold Vidal and released Pirlo this summer, which certainly weakened their midfield. Pogba is their most valuable asset and all the top clubs are interested, including the ones that can easily spend more money on fees and wages than Chelsea.

 

It would be a phenomenal deal, but I can't see it happen. He's probably going to move next year to sunny Spain, with Barca as the most likely destination.

He is going to leave in a season or two, so juventus are just saving face with the shirt number change. Juventus aren't a club who can keep their big names when the richer clubs come calling. I think we should go back in for witsel or another CM. Who is out there for the double pivot role with matic? I don't know of many top central mids atm.

If mourinho doesn't like how loftus-cheek doesn't track back, then he will equally dislike it when pogba does it too. RLC is not too disimilar to pogba, except the experience at top level, but give RLC chances in his natural position and he can be our pogba. pogba is potential, just like RLC is potential, difference being that the former has had the opportunities to build up his experience with a top team in a good league and is now receiving a ton of hype because of it.

 

i would much rather we stick to our own at this point instead of spending needlessly on someone like pogba who would cost a bomb. have some faith in our youth system ffs, otherwise they will get driven out. ake has already expressed his gratitude for being given a chance at his new loan club, so it's about time we start bleeding through a few of our own before they start feeling resentment towards our club.

Agreed.

Pogba is proven at the highest level both at club and international level. RLC is just a youth player who has talent but it's still to be seen if he can carry that over to the first team.

Of course we will never know if we don't try but someone like Pogba would be a no brainer if available, he's like you say one of the best midfielders in the world...RLC is nowhere near that.

Hype will do that. However there are few players to compare him to in the world, so not much competition.

I don't think Pogba would suit us, tbh I think he'll be a Barca player next Summed anyway.
