Paul Pogba - Needs to Sign!

Featured Replies

It's a bit crazy.

Oscar himself is worth around £30 odd million while Ramires could fetch £20-25 to the right club.

I certainly wouldn't be offering them Oscar but if we're talking a swap deal which rarely happens, I'd go for money + Cuadrado. If needed then Rami but if both of those 2 went the figure of actual cash would have to be pretty low in relative terms to account for the value of the two players.

I do think you're over valuing Rami a bit though mate. £15-20m would have been my guess but in today's market, who really knows?

From what juve say in the press oscar sounds like their top target. If we are willing to through him in to a bid with 30mill or higher I can see juve accepting.

Whether they would accept the same money with ramires and cuadrado in the deal instead seems unlikely.

Juventus' former Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba has been linked with a £60million move to Stamford Bridge. Again, Mourinho refused to comment.

......

He added: "Can you do something that you really believe you cannot lose the opportunity to do?"

Intriguing! Let's hope something comes of it.

He didn't say that in reference to pogba though, he said that talking about pedro, and the possibility of more signings before the end of window.

About pogba he just said he will not speak about a juventus player, even though allegri has spoke all summer about oscar and ramires.

The main objective of Roman Abramovich is Paul Pogba, for whom he is willing to pay 85 million Euros. (via @sport) #CFC #Juventus

#CFC presented a mega offer for Pogba to Juventus & included in the agreement Cuadrado, a player apparently liked by Allegri (via @sport)

#Juventus is also interested in Brazilian midfielder Oscar and could become another tool in the negotiation for Pogba (via @sport) #CFC

However, to convince #Juve for Pogba will not be easy. The player is an idol for fans & has just been given the famous #10 (via @sport) #CFC

so reading between the lines

"allegri spoke to the media about other team's player that he's interested in and that's not professional"

"i'll be professional and i won't speak to the media about other team's player i'm interested in"

Sky italia saying he ain't going anywhere. I still think well get him

Oh please their manager has coveted Oscar for a long time. You guys don't believe if we put him, Cuadrado and Ramires plus cash in to a deal Juve would not bite our hands off for it? It would be a silly deal for us to do, but everyone has a price, even Pogba. Just depends how badly we want him, same with Stones.

the transfer windows in spain, germany and italy close on the 31st of this month, so IF we're to strike a deal for pogba it needs to be very soon for them to get a player or two in. of course this is all hypothetical as this transfer hasn't any kind of legs at all right now.

any of those mentioned barring oscar i wouldn't mind at all, but plus cash is just ridiculous to be honest. we can't complain about city spending when we're doing the same if we are serious about pogba.

That's true.

City and United are doing it so why not if the player we want is vital to our needs?

Of course this being if FFP is no longer an issue and we can afford it.

Cuadrados value has plummeted and Ramires I probably as Edin pointed out over priced so maybe £30 million combined. Pogba is going to cost much more than that IMO

Sterling or De Brunye aren't even in the same solar system as Pogba is in terms of talent. Pogba is a top 10 player in the world. If Juventus wants Oscar, Ramires, Cuadrado and Cash for him you do it. A Matic / Pogba DM pairing would be unstoppable for the next 5+ years.

Getting Pogba pushes Fabregas up to his more preferred position with Willian backing him up. Oscar, Ramires, and Cuadrado are all expendable if Pogba comes in.

Stop being so daft.

Nah 3 players for 1 including cash is too much.

Oscar alone is worth 30 million remember.

Oscar hasn't really proven anything to warrant 30 million. If Oscar and Ramires are worth a combined 50 million than Pogba is worth 100 million in that same sense.

Juventus will want Ramires or Oscar, we aren't keeping both and both are expendable. You want to get the big fish you gotta use high end bait.

We have been speaking about depth and the need for additions to help us contend. Anyone thinking that 3 players plus cash is naive.

He is one of the best players in the world but he is not worth 3 good players and cash. EVER.

Imagine he got injured? Utter LOLZ for every other team and fan.

If Im generous those players might fetch 50 mill; so you would need more cash. Not a huge fan of swap deals like that though and I cant recall it ever happening

Things to remember are is Oscar a better footballer than he was when we paid £20 odd million for him?

Answer to that is obviously yes.

Is he on a long term contract ?

Again yes.

He’s 23, proven in Europe, EPL and at International level for Brazil being a mainstay in the side that got to the WC final. His levels dip agreed but when he’s on form he is a top level player.

IMO he’s clearly going to fetch £30 odd million if sold. He’s a better footballer than Sterling and De Bruyne.

I think it would be crazy to give up 3 players for 1, we don't have a massive squad as it is.
