Someone compared Pogba to Toure and that's true in every sense of the word, when he wants to play well and put a shift in he's unstoppable but those moments are few and far between. That may be so but I wouldn't be willing to lose either Oscar or Ramires to find out. 

I'd swap out Ramires for Pogba in a heart beat.

I do think its a bit overrated

I don't see how people can rate Barca as being so much better than us. Their defence is woeful ours isn't. Just because they can keep the ball well better than we can doesn't mean we couldn't beat them.

Did we not draw against them with ten men. With the man sent off being our most important defensive figure. Or is that irrelevant? They aren't the Barcelona of Guardiola anymore and even in that case we've gave them some very good games even when they were in their heyday. Losing to an injury time goal, and a game with so many ridiculous decisions is no embarrassment.

We beat the so called best footballing team of all time with quite possibly our weakest side since Roman Abramovich took us over. We are always labelled as the underdogs against teams like Barcelona and we more often than not seem to get a result against them. With our current squad i see no reason why we couldn't beat them or teams rated as high as them again.

Our record against Barca is pretty good. Mind you.

I find Barcelona and us are neck and neck. No team is better than the other at the moment but with Barca's steady decline I could really see us jumping ahead of them in the near future.

 

The only sides that I feel are ahead of us ever so slightly are Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, Atletico Madrid and possibly Juventus. Put it simply we are right at the top and deserve far more plaudits and praise than we receive in comparison to these other sides!

 

I would sign Pogba in a heartbeat provided the price wasn't outrageous and he could slot into the side nicely without pushing an established player out in the process. The same logic applies to Reus as well.

Barca attacking wise are on another level to everyone else and they are showing it again.

They have never had a 'great' back line but that's because 9/10 they don't need one because they pin teams back with their sheer talent in attack and midfield.

We are getting there though, I'd say we are a more rounded football side in terms of we can sit back, soak up pressure and get results...Barca cannot do that as they ahve never set up like that.

Our midfield is strong, talented and lightning quick out wide. However if one of our central 2 are out (Cesc or Matic) then we don't have another who can do what they do at the same level and that's where we lack IMO.

Signing Pogba would add so much quality and depth to our squad, he's super talented and is only going to improve.

Just imagine what monsters we gonna be if we will bring Pogba in the next year.

I can understand people thinking dishing out 60-80m for Pogba is not good value for money, but saying you dont rate at all a player who, along with neymar and hazard is your best bet for winning ballon d or after the messi-ronaldo domination ends is just ridiculous

I appreciate this would cost us huge money but Pogba & Varane, and I think we're set for a long time on signings for the first team.

Will it happen? Absolutely not.

I would love to add both of these guys into the team but they won't come cheap and I think the club would be hesitant about overpaying for either player.

Pogba would be upwards of £25 million and the same with Varane.

We spend this kind of money on Willian and Cuardrado. We do have a few questionable buys since Jose returned that's for sure.

I'd imagine since we have been making a profit there will be a decent amount of money available in the summer plus selling on guys like Moses who are on loan will add to the kitty.

We really do need to bulk up this squad with quality.

Well I listed City and PSG as well as United, Madrid and Barca who have made transfers of a decent sum in the last couple of years despite FFP and I'm sure Bayern Munich have a few quid knocking around too and I'm sure we're not short of a quid ourselves considering the new TV deal, a new shirt sponsorship coming in next season and our general transfer approach in the last couple of years. 

 

The top talent like Pogba has always gone to a select few clubs in Europe and it's no different now, if and when he does go it's going to be a big transfer.

For me Pogba would be worth every penny he is exactly what we need pure powerhouse dominates the midfield very similar to Yaya Toure but with time on his side being only 21/22 so would be a big but important investment for the future Imagine -------Pogba------Matic----------

Well he was bang average today. He didn't dominate anything. Played at times like a flipping machine. 

If that's his level in european games, we don't need him.

 

And don't tell me it's just one game. For that price that he must deliver much more.
