Diego Costa to Chelsea

Featured Replies

Yeah seems a done deal, Graham hunter reporter from Spain couldn't speak highly enough of him, I know we've all seen parts of him thi season but I'm guessing he knows his stuff and he has been saying 'Chelsea fans will look back and see 32 million as a steal' and 'he could be the star of the prem next season'

I know people don't like his antics but the thought of actually having a top striker here feels great. Feels like a decade when it's only been 2 years lol.

Have a good feeling about this signing.

He'll be a loose cannon at times but he's still a cannon, an upgrade on the potato-guns we've been using for our ship thus far.

Not on CFC site, what makes people think this is done?

Besides two games left of the season, the WC knowing our luck he'll probably get injured

So we've met his release clause? Pretty sure that was always expected, doesn't mean it's final though, doubt anything will be agreed until after the CL final, can't see AM wanting to rock the boat before then.

Perhaps this is an unsettling tactic so enable King Carlo to swoop in and take the crown.

Looking likely although it is from Sky sources...

What's wrong with that? If anything Sky source is probably the best source, they don't make silly speculations until they think it's definite. Compare Sky to all other sources and you will know what I mean.

If this is true, I'm very happy. Hopefully he will fit in well into Mourinho's system, looks like he is the definition of a Mourinho striker. Good price too.

They had it on sky sports news, as if it was a done deal, they very rarely make statements like that unless they are sure, announcement set for June but they said unless any last minute hiccups it should all go through

Probably because it's breaking news on Sky Sports News. I don't think it would be breaking news if it wasn't going to happen.

I don't like the guy, and i don't really want us to get him but i'll give him a chance, i have a feeling he will be suspended a lot though. Us vs Liverpool will be interesting next season, there should be bets on who will be the biggest twat on the day, Suarez or Diego Costa

I'd wager that both clubs are keeping it non-official until Atletico's season is over in both La Liga and the Champion's League.

Despite them beating us in the Champion's League this season and in the Super Cup I think we've actually got good relations with them.

If there's anyone left who doesn't dislike us these days, then they will certainly hate us next season when this 'animal' runs riot for us.

Assuming he signs for us then I can't wait to see him fighting for the Premiership title in our blue shirt!

32 mil seems like a good price for him, and congratulations to our board for acting swiftly to land one of the most sought after players in europe! just got to hope he can translate his spanish form into the premier league, and quickly! we need him to be able to hit the ground running for us to launch a real title bid

Throwing spit is nothing to find amusing, even though Pepe and Ramos are cocks.

If he does it here and someone breaks his legs I will not say a word against them.

Theres some things that you just can't stand for.

I hope Jose can put a lid on his tantrums and use his fire for the greater good of the team. If he pulls that sh*t here he will not see out half the season, and he will get slaughtered in the press.

Agreed, we don't need that at Chelsea, said earlier about a Spanish reporter talking to SSN, he also mentioned Costas temperament, says he's matured this season and is getting better. That video says it was last season so maybe he's right

I don't want him to do it for us but it was funny with Ramos and Pepe as they are total pr*cks..
